I got this as a gift for Christmas last year and it has been nothing but great. I had a glow plug issue recently and the warranty dept was quick to get me back grilling.

was having great success and cooking wonderful grilled and smoked items and enjoying the ability to view on my mobile app the status of the items cooking. I recently had problems with the grill loosing the flame and consented tech support and was first directed to change the glow plug. that seemed to work for a short while and then was directed to clean the auger with a shop vac and was informed this should be done after each time you use a full load of pellets. That seems to now have done the job and am now back to enjoying the grill. We consumers need to be informed of this important step to avoid this problem in the future..

Took me awhile to decide which grill I wanted but glad I chose the SF4. I've done turkey, chicken, pork loin, steaks and gonna do ribs this coming weekend. So far I've been thoroughly impressed and love the fact I can crank the heat and sear instead having to buy a sear plate.

I enjoy cooking on this SmokeFire EX4, because of the accuracy and ease of use. The temperature is always on target and the phone app helps stay informed while working on other food items in the kitchen away from the grill. LOVE IT!
I purchased the Smokefire over six weeks ago and I am very happy with the results. I've cooked burgers, sirloin roast beef, whole chicken, chicken wings, ribs, and meatloaf, potatoes, vegetables. I cooked two turkeys and one duck for Thanksgiving meal which turned out awesome as family guest were amazed how moist and the flavourful the birds turned out. The only one neg thing to mention is that I have to keep moving the pellets around in the hopper as I keep getting pellet voids, where the bbq loses its temperature. The phone app is user friendly allowing wifi and Bluetooth to operate the bbq. Great recipes to try out with step by step instructions.

Thank you for your feedback! We are absolutely thrilled to learn that you are loving your new SmokeFire grill. We love that you have tried making so many different things and that they all turned out great! Thanks for sharing those photos, we always love to see what our fans are cooking up! We are sorry, however, to hear about the issues you are having with your pellet feed. It sounds like your pellet quality may need to be inspected. We recommend using Weber pellets for the best results. It is also crucial that pellets be stored in an airtight container or they can quickly deteriorate in quality due to moisture. Pellets should "snap" when you break one in half to ensure freshness. Pellet voids can happen, under the best conditions, but fresh pellets will help reduce this issue. Our Support team is sending you a follow-up email to see if there is anything else we can do to help. Please look for our message soon. Thanks again for your feedback and for being part of the Weber SmokeFire family!
I Love my grill and have enjoyed the food I've cooked. The reason I am only giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the ashes. They are supposed to go into the drawer on the grill but for some reason alot of ashes have ended up on my meat. I have to pull the skin off or put the meat inside some tinfoil to be able to eat it. Other than that it's an amazing grill!!!

I've used pellet grills for years and I'm beyond impressed with Weber's offering in this very competitive category. The #1 drawback of a pellet grill is they are more "oven" than grill and lack access to direct radiant heat. The SmokeFire addresses this by discarding the traditional heat baffle/drip plate and replacing it with the familiar Weber Flavorizer bars, allowing the flame to peek through on high-temp cooks. It also has a novel pellet delivery system that uses an inclined auger to drops pellets into the firepot to avoid the dereaded auger/hopper burnback. I admit I was skeptical how this would work as grease would undoubtedly mingle with ash in the bottom of the cooker. So did Weber engineers pull it off? After a few months of use, I can emphatically say that they did. The gas grill no longer gets touched. The food that comes off of the SmokeFire is astonishingly good. The reverse-sear technique for steak is a must-try with this cooker. You'll be good to go if you keep it clean, use Weber pellets (or at least the Lumberjack ones that have a smaller diameter), mix up the pellets in the hopper every now and then during a long cook to avoid tunneling, and place a drip/water pan below fatty foods like briskets or pork butts. Weber could have just copied other manufacturers' time-tested designs. Instead it created a truly innovative cooker that is a step forward for the pellet grill category. I know there have been some very high-profile negative reviews by YouTube boobs but I don't think they're on point with the updated Gen2. You're getting all the bells and whistles with this thing at a great price ... plus you're buying from a company that will stand behind its product. If you're on the fence, just go for it.

Having recently downsized into a condo, I was looking for a grill /smoker combo. Most of the other pellet grills do not have the high temp range to get a good sear on a steak. After smoking a pork butt, grilling hamburgers, steaks and chicken, I'm happy to say I made the right choice. Super easy smoking and plenty of heat for grilling.

I have had this for for almost 5 months and love it. I moved to Weber from a different brand while looking for a larger smoker. I love the wireless features, the ease of cleaning, the spacious room, and the results I am getting. I have smoked ribs, chicken, steaks, pork belly and also did some roasts on it. All results have been great. From a grilling perspective it also has been awesome! My BIL said the best burgers he has ever had has come off this. Easy to put together, simple enough to maintain, great to use. What more do I want?

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
