Overall pretty good. Very stable temperature keeping. Amazingly fast warm up and ability to change temperature. Hard to fill and drain pellets. Doesn't have the best ash and grease management. Wish it had an inside light (new one does)

Thank you for your feedback. We are so sorry to hear about the E-7 motor failure. As you stated we would suggest checking for loose connections to the motor. Our Support team will be reaching out to follow up. Please look for our outreach soon. Thank you!
It was easy to assemble. I only plan to use this as a smoker. We already have a Weber Genesis II for grilling. The first pork butt I smoked turned out great.
Good product but the shut down is very long and noisy. Got a bag of apple pellets and some of the pellets were over 3 inches long and bridged over auger feed and grill went out, had to go thru whole shut down before restart.

I've had my EX4 (gen 2) for over a year now. It has done nothing but impress me after having had 2 previous pellet grills from another manufacturer. Does everything from low and slow to searing hot (600 degrees!!). I've had no issues to date and everything that comes off it is delicious. Did I mention there's been no backburns into the feed auger??? No tearing down the pit to clean the burn pot before every cook for fear of having a back burn, thank you Weber!!
This smoker is fantastic and very easy to use. This smoker will keep the heat for as long as needed. It is very easy to clean with included tool and is a must to keep everything working properly.
I just hope the shutdown to be quicker and quieter
As a long time Customer of Webber gas grills, I expected a well designed quality product. But this smoker is a DUD!! Completely unreliable pellet feeding system is the main issue. After 10 uses, It has only worked well one time. Pellets do not feed consistently through auger or into burn pot. You can be grilling for 15 minutes or for 2 hours and suddenly temperature drops. Each time a great amount of effort is needed to disassemble and clean delivery system in order to try to get it work again. I've spent an inordinate amount of time trying to figure this out and have wasted lots of money of meat that was not cooked fully. I've also had multiple parties ruined because of the defects in this product. To the folks at Webber: you really let me down this time. I really fail to undertow you have put your brand at risk by putting out such a flawed product.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to learn that you are disappointed with your new SmokeFire grill. Your satisfaction is very important to us, and we are here to help! There is a bit of a learning curve when using this grill, just like any new grill. Also, easy-to-adjust factors like pellet quality and grill maintenance are often the cause of the issue you described. We recommend using fresh Weber pellets in your SmokeFire. Fresh pellets will snap when broken in half, not crumble. Dusty, crumbly pellets can create many unwanted issues such as auger jams and pellet bridging. Either of those issues could cause your grill to shut down mid-cook. Maintenance is key with the SmokeFire models. That starts with doing a complete shutdown after each use. Doing the shutdown and cleaning before each use will set your grill up for success. After longer low and slow cooks, it is recommended that a more thorough cleaning be done. Also, the owner's guide mentions using a drip/water pan in your cookbox for longer cooks as well. To expand on that, our 6416 Summit drip pans fit perfectly between the cooking grates and Flavorizer bars. We would like to offer our assistance! Please look for an email from our Care team soon. Thank you!
Bought the 2nd gen almost a year ago. Worked fine for the first few cooks. I've probably used it 15 times total since buying it. For the second time this month it has left me embarrassed with hungry guests staring in disappointment. I changed the glow plug and after one cook it stopped working midway through a smoking session. Auger kept filling burn pot to the point of pellets overflowing from the burn pot. I clean all my grills after EACH use, inside and out. Use the Weber brand pellets. In this case it's the pit and not the pit master who keeps dropping the ball. Until issue is fixed this is a buy I highly regret. Great hunk of steel for the scrapyard though.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.

30-Day Returns
Return all new, unused, and unassembled items in their original packaging, and we'll give you a full refund minus the cost of the original AND return shipping.
No Restocking Fee
Most companies charge a restocking fee. We just don't do business that way.
