I absolutely love my new Weber Pellet Grill. It holds temp perfectly and the Weber Connect makes grilling come out delicious and mouth watering every time !!

This is easily rated as the best BBQ I have owned period. It is replacing Webber 22" kettle charcoal BBQ and a Webber 14" smokey mountain smoker. Webber shipped three glow plugs so on initial fire up the first glow plug failed. No problem as there were two others and my first ribs were as tender and smokey as compared to the 14" Smokey mountain kettle ribs. Good job to the Webber team for producing a well built, efficient unit.

Bought this grill Christmas 2022 and its been about a month of cooking on it. I knew I would be doing a lot of smoking on my break so I decided to purchase it then. I cooked pork back ribs the first day and they were amazing. Very easy to use, the app is neat although I prefer to change temperatures at the grill, and the space is great. I was worried that it would be too small but I have not run into that issue yet. If I decided to save more and wait a few months I would have definitely bought the bigger ex6 but I don't regret my purchase seeing how much food I cooked in the first week. The size of the top rack in comparison to similar price range grills is a luxury that I fully appreciate. There is lots of space from the second rack to the top of the cook chamber, allowing easy access to whatever you are smoking. I have not fully tested out the sear potential on the pit (mainly because I do all my searing on my weber master touch kettle which I also highly recommend) but I have seen people do it and think it is possible to get that high heat. Build quality is super, and I don't worry about damaging the enamel coating. Lastly, the grill is very very easy to clean due to everything coming out with no screws or clips. Ok, now its time for the negatives and, while I don't have anything major, here are some things to consider. If you will feed a 15 plus crowd on a fairly regular basis, purchase the larger ex6. You can get away with a big crowd every now and then on the ex4 but its not ideal. The front shelf does not come with the grill, making it a little annoying to take things on and off. Don't let this stop you from buying it, but be aware that more surfaces will be an extra 100 bucks. Also, the grill's "shut down" procedure requires it to burn off everything in the burn box and completely cool before asking you to switch the grill off. This is not a problem for me because once I'm done cooking I don't mind the grill doing its thing while I eat. Do bear in mind this process takes about 15 minutes which is ridiculous. One Finally very important remark... I was in the middle of a big cook for a lot of people and when I opened the app, it prompted me to do a firmware update. DO NOT DO THIS WHILE YOU ARE COOKING. I realized too late that when it was finished the update, the grill decided it needed to restart which is about a half hour ordeal that required the grill to COMPLETELY cool and then come back up to temperature. I did a little research and found out to bypass this very long shutting down and reheating process, kill the power to the grill at the switch and turn it back on. It wont harm any of the electronics and, although weber does not recommend it, it saved me a lot of time and I was able to get back to cooking a lot sooner.

Good heat control. Easy to use. 1 of the feet faulty thread so all feet are 3cm out of base. APP is unreliable.
The quality of materials is nice. Ran into problems after two weeks of ownership. Grill started throwing errors during shutdown procedure. Had one incident were it would not keep the temperature. And the last issues was when the pid quit working. Decided to return it because a grill at this price shouldn't have this many issues in the first two weeks.

I've had the EX4 for over a year. In the first year, they had to literally replace almost everything (auger and motor assembly, motherboard, multiple glow plugs, controller). It worked great after an update promised to better operations. Now it's back to ol' unreliable. Can't tell you how many times using it when it resulted in "alright, who wants to order pizza?" because it just stops working. It's a really frustrating to spend a ton of money on fuel and upgraded accessories for a grill that just sits there most of the time because it can't be trusted.

Super fast start and completely idiot proof operation. This smoker is almost too easy to use. Requires minimal baby sitting, you just check the app on occasion which just happens to be loaded with tons of info and recipes. Makes a pro out of anyone.
Great unit. Set it and monitor from anywhere and adjust temp from anywhere with your phone. The only thing you can't do with your phone is add pellets.
This is a solid well made appliance. Very accurate temperature control that produces consistent results with all proteins. Would suggest that the hopper somehow be redesigned to improve pellet feed for long burns and not create false low pellet alerts. The smokefire app could use some adjustments to provide easier intuitive access to temperature and time adjustments.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
