Just used for the first time camping. Not a fan of how it heats. It seems to get a hot spot in the middle and nothing as it radiates out. Recent purchase, so will look at a return after we get home. Loved the idea and weight, just a poor execution.

Bought this "griddle" because of its small footprint, to take in our coach on trips. I initially liked it because it's electric, so I didn't have to mess around with gas canisters. Additionally, I thought it would be somewhat like my Blackstone. Boy was I wrong. Here are all the short comings in no particular order: the drip tray is ridiculously small and difficult to get out, so when full of grease it often spills, the heating elements miss the outside 2.5 inches all the way around, so don't try to cook a lb of bacon at one time, it's not easy to clean with the scraper, as it misses a significant amount of left over food, as a previous reviewer stated, can't use the windscreen with the lid, so waste of money on that item. BUYER BEWARE!!!

I am not impressed with this, bought it because it is electric and I wanted to avoid buying a gas grill. Grilling a corn took me 30 mins at maximum temperature. Assembly was not difficult. I bought the hood and the windscreen, if you install the hood, you cannot use the windscreen - would have been nice if BBQguys had this documented. Overall I wish I had gone for a traditional gas grill. Would have got a bog one for the money I spent for the tree items - grill, cart and hood.

Hi Elleana. The Maverick Char B Que grill comes largely assembled. The only thing is the wind shield that will need to be installed, but doesn't have to be used.
Asked by Elleana | Answered by WesleyHey Marc, this grill produces 120V at 60HZ. This will require a standard 120V A/C plug that can handle 1200 watts, like an outlet on an exterior wall to a house.
Asked by Marc | Answered by HunterHi Thomas! This grill can be used and stored outdoors but cannot get wet. You would need to cover the grill and cord/plug when not in use. If not used for an extended amount of time (such as winter) then it is recommended to be brought into a dry place for storage. Since it is not normally used as an outdoor grill, Maverick does not make a cover for this item.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
