Take Your Wood-Fired Cooking to the Next Level with Traeger Pro 575

With more precise temperature control, D2 Direct Drive, and rugged all-terrain wheels and a stronger body, the Pro Series pellet grill can tackle any grilling challenge. The Pro series 575 pellet grill is constructed with a stamped black lid, powder coated steel, and boasts 36,000 BTUs of cooking power.

Small Footprint, Big Grilling Surface

The main grilling rack is 22 X 19 inches of porcelain coated steel grilling surface accompanied by a 22 X 7-inch extra grill rack for a total grilling area of 572 square inches, letting you cook a full meal all at one time.

The Pro 575 Does it All: Low & Slow or Searing Hot

The versatility of this pellet grill allows you to smoke at temperatures as low as 180 degrees and then crank it up to 500 degrees to sear to perfection. The natural airflow inside of the grill allows for convection cooking, so you can bake a pizza right on your grill. Convection cooking also means you do not have to turn your meat, unless cooking with high temperatures or if you want even grill marks.

Traeger WiFIRE

Tired of babysitting your grill? Try out the WiFIRE controller to change the temperature, set timers and access thousands of Traeger recipes using the Traeger app and your smart phone (available for iOS & Android devices). The WiFIRE controller is also compatible with Google Home and Amazon Alexa enabled devices, allowing you to control grilling temperatures, monitor internal temperature of food, set timers, and create alerts using voice commands. Single meat probes give you accurate temperature readings. With the purchase of this grill, you will have access to the Traeger Grill Guide app with the perfect recipe for every occasion.

Traeger D2 Direct Drive

The D2 Direct Drive drivetrain technology makes the Pro 575 more durable, with the DC brushless motor, and also increases the efficiency of the grill with Turbo Temp fast start-up, and the variable speed fan.

Efficient Pellet Consumption

When you turn on the grill, the auger begins to feed pellets into the firepot while the draft induction fan feeds air into it. The igniter rod is activated and glows red hot for the first four minutes to ignite the pellets in the firepot. These cost-effective pellets burn at a rate of only 2 lbs. per hour on high heat, 1 lb. per hour on medium heat, and only 1/2 lb. per hour when smoking. The Pro series also adds a clean out to the hopper, allowing you to quickly change the smoke flavor of the pellets while grilling.

Additional Features

  • The Pro Series 575 has a keep warm mode so you can eat when you are ready to, not when the food is ready.
  • This energy efficient grill runs off of a standard 110 volt outlet.
  • The Pro 575 also features storage hooks for extra grill racks, a sawhorse chassis, and a lift bar on the side of the barrel, allowing you to easily move the grill around on the patio.
  • The proprietary design and thick legs make the grill more maneuverable while the large, all-terrain wheels help the grill roll quietly.

Steady Temp-WiFi Winner

First pellet grill with WiFi and it works great, what a cheat code. Got rid of my Recteq due to continued temperature spikes that would ruin long smokes. Traeger holds temp great thus far and although it was annoying at first, I like the fact that it forced me to clean the fire box before starting up to prevent flame ups. There may be a way around that but I'll just grab the shop vac and keep it clean. Surface area is smaller than I'm used to but I knew that beforehand, overall very satisfied with the purchase.

Not much smoke flavor!

Pro 575 maintains heat well. I haven't seen a big difference between my meater thermometer and the on board sensor. Others have reported a large discrepancy but I didn't experience that. It disappointing that this model doesn't have a super smoke mode. Even keeping temp below 225F doesn't provide the same flavor as the super smoke mode. I've had to put a separate smoke canister inside. It's a pain but necessary to get flavor. The hook the grease pail hangs on is poorly designed. If you use a cover, the pail falls when you remove the cover. I needed to design a latch that retains the pail. It could been designed a lot better without adding cost. Hopper clean out is difficult as the door is behind the grill and the pellets do not free flow out of the hopper. A stick needs to be poked through the anger protection screen. I'm sure that many people have just removed the screen. The controller is easy to operate and the Mobil app screen is laid out well. Cleaning the ash put requires all the heat shields and grates to be removed. Chamber cannot be removed and dumped, it has to be vacuumed. Other competing grill have buckets that can be removed. All in all, heat stability is good, controller is good but the pellet unloading process and ash pit cleaning ergonomics could be a lot better. It a middle of the rode product at best.

Wasn't totally what I was expecting

The only thing I miss from a propane grill is that you can't get great grill marks. Also, the smokey flavor just isn't what I expected.

Glad zi did

I know several people with a Traeger and they were very happy, so when my smoker died I figured I'd give it a try. Im glad I did. Did a rack of ribs and a pork shoulder, both came out great. I had issues setting up the wifi, it doesnt like 5.0 bandwidth, only 2.6. We worked thru it with Trager support, they were great

Design flaw?

First off, let me say that the grill has been fantastis up until this point. I got a bonus for working short staffed through teh pandemic and had wanted a pellet grill for years but always prioritized family expenses. This time my wife convinced me to treat myself for once. Last week my grill stopped working. Upon investigation wasps built a nest on the back of the controller and shorted it out. Adding a screen would have prevented this. Looking online a replacement contoller is prohibitively expensive, so this may be the end of the road for a grill I spent years dreaming about and though would be serviceable reasonabely and last em a ligetime with soem care and maintenance.

Simply the best

My only regret is it doesn't do the dishes. The WIFI controls are so great pairing with the pellet hopper sensor is a must. Seriously, you can do the 9-12 cooking with out leaving the house to check on pellet quantity, meat temp, and time.

Overall it's a decent grill…

Pretty easy to assemble and get started. I bought the smaller one so it doesn't take long to heat up, not much difference from my old propane. Controlling the temps with the knob is nice. I have two complaints; I cannot get this grill to connect to wifi at all and I get an error code saying my probe is faulty every time I plug it in….for what these prices are, I feel the app/wifi should be way better and also I shouldn't be receiving a faulty probe that's doa saying to call customer service as soon as I plug in

When will my item arrive?

Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

  • Most freight products ship on a pallet
  • Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
  • We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.

For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.

For carriers that deliver without an appointment:

Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
