My last 310 lasted 10 years. The grill/shell parts could have been maintained forever with replacement bits. But, the cabinet decayed (rusted out) and I had to chuck it. The new one looks the same - the welds in the base corners are rusting through the paint 1 month in. The functional parts are of the right materials, but the bases are carbon steel and rust out. We live on the beach with salt air. Pretty certain that few "coastalS" have this problem. The grill seems to take a bit longer to heat up and seems to struggle a bit in a breeze to hold higher temps. The stainless grill is a must have and is an improvement. The cover is a necessity here but It is lighter duty than the old models. I had to move the BBQ away from our bedroom because it also makes a lot more noise flapping during storms. I have given it a 3.5 star, simply because there is nothing on the market as good. It cooks excellently, but it's durability is unimproved and the cover is worse. Improved fashion/styling(?) I'd take my old model just as well.

Hello! Thank you for being a long-time Weber fan, and congratulations on your new grill! Since your grill is located in a coastal area, additional maintenance will be needed to keep up the appearance of the exterior steel parts. Below are a couple helpful tips. 1. At the first sign of staining/discoloration/surface rust we would recommend cleaning with a stainless steel cleaner. Once cleaned, we recommend using a stainless steel polish to keep it looking its best in-between cleanings. 2. Once a week we would recommend wiping down the grill with a wet towel or rag and then drying completely. 3. We would only recommend covering your grill if you know inclement weather is coming. 4. The quicker you get at a stain the easier it will be to clean off. Thank you for choosing Weber!

This is my third Weber grill. Each previous grill lasted about 10 years and I BBQ often. The stainless steel grill top of this one is a big improvement and worth the money. I also like the built in grill light. No more using my cell phone as a flashlight. Loving it so far. Happy grilling!

I am very pleased with my purchase of the Genesis II SE-310 Gas Grill. It is well built and performs better than I expected (and my expectations were high). I have had many less expensive grills and I can say, with all honesty, that the quality of the Weber grills when compared to less expensive ones is actually beyond comparison. I expect this grill to last me for a very long time with minimal maintenance. Oh..and it cooks food really well also.

I recently, and reluctantly, said goodbye to an old friend. It was a Weber Genesis I bought in 2005. Throughout our 15 years together, that Weber was rebuilt and refurbished and never complained or acted up. It was a perfect partner and, when necessary, a perfect patient. But, it was time to go and be replaced by a new model. I never thought I'd ever find a grill as robust and trustworthy as that old gal. BUT....leave it to Weber to improve on perfection. This new one, I predict, will outlive and outshine its predecessor. Love, once again, is in the air on my back deck. Thank you Weber

I love my new Weber grill. Its obviously well made and everything about it says Quality. I also love the Stainless steel cooking grates. they make cleanup a breeze.

The new genesis is a replacement to a 12 year old Weber Summit that we took to the lake house. This grill heats up faster and cooks more evenly than the Summit. The grill light is a great addition

Black paint on top of grill is fading and discolored after a couple uses. VERY DISAPPOINTED. :-(

Hi! Thank you for taking the time to submit this feedback! We are sorry about the disappointment the lid top had caused! We certainly do not expect this from our Genesis SE-310! We do not paint the lids. The porcelain enamel gets baked on. However, we have passed this information to our support team, and they will reach out to assist. Thanks!

I AM EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH THE GRILL. ITS STURDY, HAS A NICE LOOK AND IS EASY TO CLEAN. WHAT I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED ABOUT IS TRYING TO REACH CUSTOMER SERVICE. I CALLED 5 TIMES (1) AND WAS ON HOLD OVER 50 MINUTES (!!!) EACH TIME AND NEVER SPOKE WITH A REPRESENTATIVE AFTER HEARING THAT MY CALL WAS IMPORTANT.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
