This griddle gets more use than my grill. I was used to my Blackstone Griddle, but needed something for my new outdoor kitchen that could be built-in. Built-in increases the price tremendously, but other than that no complaints. Well...it could be a little bit bigger.

I LOVE THIS GRIDDLE!!! BEEN USING IT EVERY NIGHT FROM HAMBURGERS TO CHICKEN FRIED RICE. SUNDAY BREAKFAST HAS NEVER BEEN BETTER! GET ONE OF THESE AND YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!

I bought this griddle nearly two years ago and have to say, it really has been disappointing. The only reason I would endorse getting this thing is if you absolutely must have a stainless steel griddle to match every other appliance in your outdoor kitchen. Otherwise, there are several options which are considerably cheaper and easier to maintain. Some of my main complaints: - the surface really can be quite difficult to clean, and requires a combination of wet paper towels, a griddle scraper, and vigorous scrubbing. - the grease trap is a large, shallow pan which is unwieldy. - despite being an outdoor griddle, don't plan on installing the griddle in a place where it is exposed to rain, as the cover does little to nothing to prevent rain water from accumulating in the grease trap, which eventually overflows into whatever enclosure it's installed. If I were to do it all over, I'd opt for a much less expensive griddle with a much smaller removable grease trap which doesn't accumulate rainwater.

You would first install an insulated jacket and then the grill. Once the grill has cooled, you may use a mixed solution of water and vinegar and a scotch brite pad (working in the same direction as the stainless steel grain) to remove the cooked-in food. Take a look at the Use & Care Guide listed toward the bottom of this item's page. On page 28 of the care guide, it explains in detail the appropriate cleaning procedures. Hope this helps!

Asked by Sean | Answered by DylanHi, Ronald. You won't have to season the Blaze Griddle before use, but there are cleaning tips to keep it cooking at its best. While the griddle is still hot, put some ice cubes or cold water on the surface, and use a scour pad with a spatula to clean following the grain of the stainless steel. When the griddle has cooled, you can use a scour pad with a safe, non-chlorine based cleaning product to finish.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
