Received Feb 2020, white probe quit working after third use, I can find no contact for replacement! Actually over priced, does not perform as well as I expected! Rather disappointed for the $$ spent and quality

I bought this offline because my char-griller computer in my char grilled pellet grill kept killing my firerod popped this in works great easy to replace

love the controller with the temp probes so i dont have to rase the lid to check the tempreture i have one problem with the temp temp an;d it only stays at 217 degees is this normal or that is ok but if i put it to 250 it stays at 251 which is great let me know abou this problem

I used this as a replacement on my Big Tex that got broke it is not near as accurate as the origanal, and not that the origanal was dead on but managable. I was able to fix the old one I am going to put it back on.

My hot rod went out and after Traeger replaced the hot rod it still wouldn't work. Then they sent me a new controller. It works perfectly. Customer service was excellent! I have no idea what some of the other reviewers are talking about. I did have to do a little work, but it wasn't hard. They even sent me videos on how to do it. Traeger stands behind their product and will warranty it without question. No charge on either product because it was under warranty. They even sent me some rubs because it took so long to get running again. I will buy another Traeger when this one dies. The same day!! Thanks traeger!!! Y'all rock!

Considered going with a cheaper, knockoff version, but have had problems in the past. The Traeger name is worth the extra money, mainly because they stand behind their products.

It is very handy having built in thermocouple inputs. I discovered my main sensor was reading 75 deg low. Problem solved. I do wish there was a setting between 375 and 450 though

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
