I thought my 8 year old Traeger Tailgater had bit the dust when it would not turn-on to smoke a port butt on New Year's morning. After reading a few blogs I decided to order this controller kit (BAC236). This put the life back in my old Tailgater and got me smoking dinners again. And a lot cheaper than buying a new grill. It took about an hour to change out the controller and temperature sensor rod.

the customer support is amazing. Nikki who is based in Greece spent well over an hour with me via a link so that she could monitor each step of the start up and cool down to determine why my temps where up and down and all over the map, turns out i needed a new controller and recommended that i also replace the rtd as it wasnt reading the the current outdoor temp correctly, glad i listened as now my cook temps are very close to the set temp , thank you Nikki

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
