Customer Reviews
I've owned my Kamado Joe Classic II for the past seven years, and I can honestly say it's the heart of my outdoor cooking adventures. Whether I'm grilling, smoking, or baking, this ceramic powerhouse delivers consistent heat and unbeatable flavor. When entertaining outdoors, I often prepare entire meals—from appetizers to the main course and even desserts—right on the Kamado. Its versatility, durability, and sleek design make it more than just a grill; it's my trusted kitchen companion under the open sky.

We have had our kamadoJoe for over 7 years and still beautiful. It is hard to come across product that actually last a long time. It also cooks meat insanely well. From brisket to pizza everything comes out amazing.

After 5 years, still solid. Great customer service for minor issues
I love cooking with this grill. I smoke ribs, I cook steaks at high temp and slow cook a Prime Rib. It can do everything.
I've owned my Kamado Joe for 10 years, and it has become much more than just a grill—it's part of our family's daily life. I use it constantly for everything from slow-smoked ribs to quick weeknight meals, and it has never let me down. But the moment that truly proved its value came after Hurricane Helene, when we lost power for an entire week. While neighbors scrambled to make do, my Kamado Joe became our kitchen. I was able to cook hot, delicious meals—everything from simple grilled chicken to hearty stews using what we could salvage from our fridge—which not only kept my family fed, but also lifted our spirits during a very tough time. Owning a Kamado Joe has meant 10 years of incredible meals, memories around the table, and even a lifeline when we needed it most. It's built to last, and I can't imagine cooking without it.

Ive had my kamado for several years without issue. Everything cooked on it is amazing.
I've had my Kamado Joe Classic II for 5 years now, and it still feels like the day I bought it. The Air Lift Hinge makes lifting the heavy ceramic lid effortless, and the Kontrol Tower top vent keeps temperatures rock steady for hours. The Divide & Conquer cooking system lets me sear steaks on one side while smoking ribs or veggies on the other, and the upgraded fiberglass gasket plus AMP firebox have held up perfectly—no issues after years of cooks. The thoughtful design, from the slide-out ash drawer to the sturdy cart and side shelves, makes every cook easy and enjoyable. After 5 years, the performance, durability, and versatility are unmatched, and I know this grill will keep going for many more. I recommend the Classic II to anyone who wants a true all-in-one outdoor cooking experience.
I have several grills , Weber, Recteq pellet & a Blackston. This has become my go to grill for all my grilling/smoking needs.
This is the best unit that I've ever cooked on. The classic Joe 2
I had wanted a Kamado style grill for some time, and two years ago I finally pulled the trigger with a Classic 2 and it has ruined me to any other way of grilling. (In fact, I loved it so much I purchased a Joe Jr a few months later) It arrived well packed and with zero damage. Setup was easy, just make sure you have a strong friend with you to help lift it! It takes a few attempts to really learn how your Kamado will behave, but that is half the fun. I have cooked just about everything on this grill, including bread. Do yourself a favor and purchase the Joetisserie as it is easily the best and most versatile accessory to work with the Kamado. I was never really a "wing" person until I made them in a rotisserie basket on the Kamado. Our first Thanksgiving consisted of a cherry wood smoked, rotisserie duck. After the first year I did have the lower gasket let go. I contacted Customer Support thinking they would just send me some sealant to glue it back, but instead they sent me an entire new gasket! Time between reaching out about the gasket to a new one in hand was roughly two weeks, tops. I am in New England and use the grill year round with zero issues. Cold weather doesn't phase it, just give yourself a little extra time for start up. I couldn't be more pleased with BOTH my Kamados, and if the Big Joe ever goes on sale I can't promise I won't get a third one as well.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
