I've been using my kamado joe for 6 years now, I can guarantee you that I have forgot how many barbecues I've made, also I've never ended up not satisfied with results. It's a win-win machine! Absolutely worth it. It also gets better with time and usage, not to mention you will learn all the tricks along the way, specially how to speed up the heating and how to properly control it.
I've owned a lot of grills, and I can still say after six years, this is the best grill I've ever owned.
I recently tried the Classic Joe series II, and as a beginner to Kamado-style cooking, I have to say, it was a really interesting experience! The first thing I noticed was the sturdy build quality—it feels like it's made to last. Setting it up was a bit tricky for me, but once I got the hang of it, things started to make sense. I really liked how the temperature control worked. At first, I was worried I might burn everything because it seemed complicated, but the vents are actually pretty intuitive once you understand them. I was able to maintain a consistent temperature, which made cooking a lot easier. The cooking space was decent, although with the Joe Jr., I had to be a bit more creative with fitting everything in. The food turned out amazing—juicy and full of flavor. I tried grilling some steaks, and they came out perfectly seared with that nice smoky taste I was hoping for. Cleaning up wasn't as hard as I expected either. The ash drawer made it simple to remove the ashes, and the ceramic inside wiped down pretty easily. Overall, I'm really happy with my first Kamado experience. It was a bit of a learning curve, but now I'm excited to try more recipes. If you're new to this kind of cooking, I think you'll really enjoy the Classic Joe SERIES II too!
I have owned this for a couple of months now. They are a lot easier to start and maintain temp then one would expect and the items turn out wonderful.
I am the mother to 2 daughters and grandmother to 6. My Kamodo Joe is in constant use March through October. . It's too cold for me in the winter snow! My best recommendation is that BOTH sons in law have acquired Kamado Joes for their yards as well. Next weekend we are planning end of summer smoked dino ribs for the entire group. It's become a key part of our shared summers. Couldn't do without it!
This is the best grill to do it all. Smokes the most amazing briskets and pork butts, and also great for every day grilling. Look at these in person- they are way better than any of the competition.
I have owned my grill for over 5 years and have extremely satisfied with the performance. I can cook anything from steaks, fish. chicken and even pizza. Everything comes out A one! I have even smoked a brisket or two with amazing results. i highly recommend it.
Its all the extras like the hinge, gasket, vent, etc that makes this grill/smoker great!
I have been grilling since 1985 using charcoal kettle grills only. 3 years ago I purchased a Kamado Joe Classic II to get into the smoking scene. This smoker has allowed me to quickly sharpen my skills in smoking food in a very short period of time. This is due to the great temperature accuracy and stability. I have literally left my home for 5 hours only to return to my smoker which has not moved by 1 degree Fahrenheit! I am now the neighborhood go-to for backyard barbecues. I highly recommend this high quality trouble free smoker.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
