Bought the bbq this year and wanted to use all the features before reviewing it. Good solid bbq but I have two issues..one, I'm disappointed that parts of this bbq are still manufactured outside of Canada and two, the drip/catch pan is obviously where they cut corners..and really, by how much? So, overall, I do like this bbq. Maybe they will tweak the design and also go all in when building a product in Canada for Canadians

This Signet Model was a replacement for our 18 year Old Soverign Model. I think this BBQ has the same great features as our previous model > The value for money was good as we were comparing it to a Weber BBQ which was significantly more money . With respect to durability, I dont think it will last as long as our old Soverign. Some parts of the BBQ (i.e.side tables) seem to be flimsy and not as well built . I would also like to see (Low/Med/High) indicators on the temperature dials. The gradient temperature scales are OK, but another indicator would help. We didn't opt for the side burner because its not very effective in the windy calgary weather. The electronic ignition is a great improvement over the old pushbutton igniter that we had. Now I dont have to worry about singeing my eyebrows when the old igniter didn't spark and I had to light it with a match. .We have only had this BBQ for a couple of months and are happy with its performance so far. . Im hoping it will last us as long as our Soverign but Im

Bbq can drop grease / debris from rear opening onto deck - a catch pan could be fitted catch pan under BBQ box is a little short and dislodges easily on moving cast iron grill plates rust up quickly and enamel or stainless options would be good otherwise a good appliance with some excellent features

I have had this grill for several months and the issues go back to when it first arrived. It took several tries for me to get a set of grates that weren't damaged in transit. One of the side wings was also damaged when I opened the box. For these things, I applaud Broil King customer service. They stepped up and took care of these issues. Otherwise, the fit and finish of the components left something to be desired as it was difficult to get some parts to fit together. I did not have this problem with my previous Weber Genesis Gold. I am more than a little discouraged by the fact that despite living in an arid climate (Las Vegas, NV), I am seeing rust in different spots on the grill. Not the least of which the plate that sits on top of the center burner is completely rusted. I grill once, maybe twice a week. I would expect a product that is made in North America would do a better job of standing up to the elements. I realize that I am probably stuck with this thing for the time being. But I am going back to Weber at the first opportunity. Sorry Broil King.

This BBQ was bought for me as a Mother's Day gift four years ago. Within two years the grills had all rusted and were cracking. Last year I used it by placing a grill over the grill. Now the burners need replacing. I can't find the parts locally, so have checked online. It is cheaper to buy a new BBQ than replace the 'innards' of this one. I bought a BBQ for half the price that lasted eight years. I expected this one to last longer. If it's any consolation, the outside still looks great.

I bought this BBQ 1month ago. My daughter put it together for me in 1 hour. I'm 72 and have been BBQ'ing for all of my adult life and so far I'm very impressed. I think this is the nicest and easiest BBQ I have ever used.

Got our Signet 70 at the start of fall last year so our activity has been somewhat limited. Did use the indirect cooking feature to cook an awesome pork roast that got rave reviews. I used the recipe and directions included with our grill. Just got a second gas tank so we're ready for the outdoor cooking season to begin!

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
