Cooks evenly no with no flare ups. Its well designed to circulate heat as fat drips down the grill grates channels the fat to avoid hitting the burners. Its a bit small so you can not do a whole lot but if your are cooking for a small crowd it is good. I love the consistent cooking results. Worth the expense. The one complaint I have is the plastic side trays that fold on top of the grill. They should be metal. They feel flimsy and I turned the grill on once without folding them out but fortunately i quickly remember and avoided melting them. I think that would be a reasonable upgrade.

We've had many, many grills, smokers and things in between that were purchased for using at home. Buuuuuuut, we can't take along our huge, heavy smoker when traveling so we had to find something that could satisfy the pro-griller guy while on the road. This is the second grill that we've purchased to take on the road in our truck camper, and we ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! It's so easy to pack up, travel with, and use on the beach, at the campsite, and anywhere in between. Very realiable, easy to use and keeps even heat. Way better than the last grill we were gifted. We did some research and this one won. We're so glad we spent the money on it! Great investment!

Got a Q1200 for camping in our trailer. I also got the adapter hose that allows me to connect it to a 5 gal tank to avoid all the waste of using the little throwaways. Have used it for burgers, hot dogs and pork chops so far and we are very happy with it. It's heating evenly as opposed to a couple of previous portable grills we have tried. Looking forward to lots of good food being cooked on it.

This is the BEST small grill I have ever owned! It cooks evenly, easy to control the heat, and is small enough to pick up and move. This is the perfect grill for RV use! (this is my second Weber Q grill. First one went with my RV when it was sold)

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
