Customer Reviews
Great little grill, compact, easy to light and even heat.
Good results on everything I have bbq'd so far. I like the size for my small deck.
After getting a big Weber for the back yard this spring, I bought this one for the fifth wheel. It is by far the best compact gas grill I've owned. It cooks very even and the temperature is easy to control.
I bought this smaller grille a month ago on the recommendation of two brothers, both accomplished grillers, who've used theirs for a year or so. They swear by theirs, and I'm appreciating mine, the more I use it ( about 2-3 X a week). This grille replaces a full- size BBQ, and I use a small charcoal grille as well. It's well- made, effectively designed and easy to keep clean ( grilles fit easily into kitchen sink). The grille area seems just right for the two of us, but likely to present challenges when cooking for four or more. I've only used one green bottle so far and, as I refill these myself, the grille is proving economical. The side trays provide just enough room for the stuff I need with me when cooking. (I do worry about forgetting to flip them out before lighting the grille, given the easy starting!) Heat regulation could be a bit of a challenge. I tried the grille with a 20 lb tank when I first got it, but it didn't work as well as with a 1 pounder ( different pressures, maybe?); but I'll re-visit that. Overall, so far so good- 4 leaning towards 5.
And I will purchase another WHY? It's the perfect size. And when it worked, it's just awesome. So why am I buying another? I've replaced everything on here and still can not burners to fully come on. Never gets past 100. But maybe it's just time to replace. I've had this for years. And I want another.
Had a Weber for years, but sold it when we sold our RV and stopped camping. Recently decided we needed an alternative cooking capability for hurricane season. Didn't consider anything but the Weber. It's a great grill and pretty easy to clean up.
I've only had the opportunity to use the grill once, so far, but it worked very well. I had it connected to a 20 pound propane tank for the cook. After a preheat, it seared two ribeyes very well. Nice black lines on the steak. Nice and lightweight and folds down nicely to store in our camper without taking up too much space.
Bought for RV use. Convenient and capable, and has become my only gas grill.
In February my wife passed away. The big grill we had wasn't needed any more. I gave to my daughter and her family, theirs was SHOT. She suggested I get a small camp type grill. Looking on line I saw this Q1200 and thought this would work well for a guy like me. Best grill I could have bought. Happy Camper.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
