I bought this for on a condo deck where charcoal and propane grills are prohibited. It's perfect for that situation. I like to use it to sear meat that I had cooked sous vide. However it does not have a griddle available. I bought a third party griddle online that was supposed to fit this grill. It fits but the lid does not completely close when using it. I don't close the lid while searing so it's fine. Would be better if Weber carried a griddle to fit.

I love the size and convenience of this grill. Dissapointed that the heating element needs to be replaced after a couple of years but customer service has been great and are sending me the peplacement

Powerful, compact electric grill that is worthy of the Weber name. The double insulated walls help hold the heat for great grilling. High quality grates are key to great cooking, too.

Perfect for condo settings when it's raining outside and you still want to grill. Almost smokeless. Great heat output for searing. Heavy, enameled cast iron grill grates are easy to clean. No charcoal mess to deal with but still gives a good grill flavor. Stores away easily.

My electric grill starter stopped working & Weber replaced it free of charge & I really appreciated their quick reply & help. I would recommend Weber grills to anyone as they stand behind their products! Jon Friedman

I was a bit skeptical that this little gem would provide the proper heat to char even a simple hamburger. WOW! I was proven wrong. Great from 20 mins heat up (per instruction) to perfectly cooked burger with char marks. Even the clean up was minimal. I also bought a cover (separately). The girl is so compact it sits in the patio corner taking up little space on our condo deck. Next: bbq ribs!

I like my Weber Q1400 electric grill; it's perfect for my apartment balcony. The heating element failed after 3 weeks, but Weber had my warranty replacement to me in less than a week. The main reason for rating the grill so low has to do with the heating element. The original element heated super hot in the recommended 20 minutes but it failed in a short time. The replacement element heats much slower and is much less hot in 20 minutes. I'm not sure which element is heating properly in 20 minutes but I feel the replacement isn't right since the grill hardly leaves sear marks after the 20 minute heat up.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
