| Flawless design, amazing performance.Best purchase ever. This frisky pan is a joy to use. Heats quickly and evenly. Meat, fish, poultry and veggies cook flawlessly. After if not making a sauce with the lovely "fond", simply wait for pan to cool down, add some water, AUTOMATIC dish soap and dollop of baking soda. Simmer few minutes. | Fast and even heat!I have had this pan a few days and I'm very pleased with the performance. It heats up fast and even, while preheating we tested the temperature on different areas of the pan all were within a degree. I'm use to cooking mostly on cast iron or non stick but I really wanted to upgrade to a high end professional cookware. I've read several reviews about how hard this pan is to clean, I have seared heavily seasoned shrimp and skin on chicken thighs. After cooking i just poured a little wine into the hot pan and made a fond sauce. The pan basically wiped clean after that! I wish it would have came with a lid like the D3 considering the price difference however I also ordered the 5qt copper core saute pan and the lid fits this pan well. | Was This Helpful? |
