Napoleon Cast Iron Frying Pan - 56053

The pan comes pre seasoned and feels like it's going to last. I look forward to many cooks with this pan.

This is a very heavy duty and high quality cast iron pan. It cooks evenly across the cooking surface. I've used it both in my grill and on the stove. I love how deep it is as well. Much better than the other "Cast" iron brand.

Got this pan a couple of months ago, used it several times. Sturdy, great heat retention and very easy to clean. Used it in a +700 degree grill without any issue. Food came out great.

This has been the perfect addition to my Prestige. I've used this a few time to make queso and a few different. Bobbles while cooking on the other half of the grill. This is a durable top tier skillet.

I received this product free from Napoleon for testing purposes. This pan is very solid. The sides are nice and high. For my first use, I cooked up some peppers and onions on my Napoleon grill to go along with sausages from the grill. I intend to use this on my grill mainly….it is a very nice addition to my outdoor cooking tools. I have large griddles that fit on my grill but they are a lot of effort to use and clean so this pan is nice if I am cooking a smaller amount. Overall I am very pleased!

This cast iron pan is wonderful! I have been using cast iron for a long time but I needed something that was a little smaller than what I had. I can tell you that I love this thing! I cooked scrambled eggs in it just to see how it would hold up, my others always end up with egg stuck all over the pan. This pan did not have any sticking, I even topped them with some cheddar cheese which naturally some fell on the pan and even that came up easily! I did season it once before my first use just as an FYI.

I am a member of the Tester Team and received this pan free from Napoleon for testing purposes. This pan matches the high quality you would expect from Napoleon. It is heavy and pre-seasoned, and it is exactly what I need for putting a sizzle on the veggies. You won't be disappointed.

I received this pan at no cost, as part of the Napoleon product tester program. In exchange for the pan, I'm providing my review of my experience with it so far. This pan definitely holds up to the Napoleon name. I am a relatively newer Napoleon grill owner, only recently upgrading to a Prestige Pro 665 last year. I have used cast iron pans on my grill in the past, and also in the kitchen. All of our other cast irons are made by Lodge. I think that the Napoleon pan is a cut above what I have used in the past. The density and weight of the pan exceeds that of even larger pans I have by Lodge. I think that this leads to better heat retention and more even cooking. My comparable in size Lodge pan seems much less substantial than this pan. My maiden voyage with this pan was to roast some vegetables on the grill while I grilled some chicken. The pan heated up quickly and maintained temperature quite well. I didn't have to check it often to see if the vegetables were sticking to the pan while I grilled. I switched the pan over to the IR burner at the end to give the vegetables a nice char, and the pan did a great job. I found that I even didn't need as much oil in the pain as usual. Given the density of this pan, I expect that it will perform well with searing some steaks, which is what I plan to try next. This pan will likely live at my grill, as its size is perfect for the main burners or the IR burner, and it doesn't take up a lot of space while providing a good cooking surface.

This is a product I received for free from Napoleon products for my honest review. I love to blacken proteins. One problem with doing that at home is that it fills your house with smoke. But with the Napoleon cast iron pan I can enjoy blackened foods at home. So far I have blackened ribeye steaks and chicken breast in this pan. It heats up evenly and puts a nice crust on the food. The pan is a nice size and weight and fits nicely over the side burner on my Prestige Phantom 500. With proper care and seasoning I'm confident this pan will last for many years to come.
