The Cookshack AmeriQue Electric Smoker features stainless steel double walled construction surrounding 850 degree Fahrenheit Spin-Glas insulation, keeping the internal temperatures consistent and the outside cool to the touch. Digital technology allows you to smoke-cook your meat at a temperature and time that you set. The AmeriQue electronic controller has an LED panel that displays the cooking temperature and the remaining time or internal meat temperature. One of the most popular features of this electric smoker is the included meat probe, which allows you to set the desired internal meat temperature. When the meat reaches a pre-set temperature, the smoker automatically goes into a 140 degree hold cycle. The AmeriQue electric smoker will arrive with everything you need to start smoking, including a meat probe for accurate internal temperature, four 18 x 14-inch nickel-plated shelves, two-position side racks, five pounds of hickory wood, stainless steel fire box, four 3-inch locking casters, stainless steel drip pan for easy clean-up, Smoking At Home cookbook with tried-and-true recipes, and an operators manual to get you up to speed fast. This AmeriQue electric smoker has a 50 lb capacity and a temperature range of 140 to 300 degrees. The smoker uses about 1 to 2 ounces of wood for every 60 pounds of food smoked. Each cooking grate has a vertical space of 5 1/2 inches. Smoker requires 7 amps/120V/1000W. All Cookshack smokers are proudly made in the USA.

Nobody else since smoking a turkey 3 years ago will do the family Thanksgiving turkey on either my wife's side or my side of the family. Spacious Cooking Area:
No matter which Cookshack electric smoker you choose, you’ll be able to confidently cook for a crowd. The AmeriQue smoker, the biggest among them, is capable of holding up to 50 pounds of food across its four included racks and 1,008 square inches of cooking area. The Cookshack SuperSmoker has one fewer rack but boasts a 756-square inch cooking surface and can accommodate 35 pounds of food. If you don’t need that much cooking space, try the Smokette Elite or Smokette Original, which are still big enough to fit up to 25 pounds of food.
Convenient Controls:
Smoking can be a precise process, so Cookshack equipped most of its smokers with tools to make it easy. The Amerique, SuperSmoker and Smokette Elite each have a digital controller and meat probe so you can monitor internal food temperature, create timers, and set heat levels. These three smokers have a temperature range between 140–300 degrees to give you cooking versatility. I noticed that this one does not, but figured there must be some method to the madness. How does the meat stay moist while cooking in this specific smoker? With all the excellent reviews, and everything I've read, I have pretty much made up my mind, that this is the smoker I want. However, I just need to know this one question. Thanks! Was This Helpful? Answer: Hi Chris. A water pan isn't necessary when smoking, but it can retain moisture on the surface of your food as well as helping to keep the temperature even. We would recommend a few inches of clearance on each side to ensure that there is room for heat to escape.
