This is my third 22" Weber kettle in the last 30 years. They are built to last. I only cook over charcoal or wood and they are great for smoking.

Weber charcoal grills are sturdy and work well. I have been a Weber charcoal grill user for a couple of decades. However I bought a new one this spring and two aspects have been redesigned. The ash catcher now has a handle which has to be squeezed to disengage from its holder. It is very difficult to squeeze hard enough if your hand strength is diminished in any way. I can use a pliers to squeeze it hard enough to loosen it, but then I don't have enough hands to squeeze the plier, hold the handle, and position the ash catcher to reposition it. The handle placement has been rotated so it is less convenient to hook the lid onto the body, although it is still possible.

I would have given 5 stars but the leg assembly was not as quick and smooth as the rest of the grill. The pieces did not insert easily. I had to used a lubricant to help put them together.

I have owned and used Weber grills for many years. They have cooked many steaks, hamburgers, hots and sausage rain, snow, shine. My small kettles have traveled with me for camping and picnics. Yes, I have had gas grills but nothing comes near to the taste of meat grilled over charcoal. Best of all, with the kettles grills you can smoke meats too, just read the manual and get the smoking kit. Finally as you're grilling, sit back on your porch chair, read or listen to a book as you anticipate a great dinner.

Every weekend I cook since I bought it. Grilling gives me pleasure. The ash can be centralized in the bucket, making maintenance easy.

A little daunting, but even a 73 year old can do it. Two things. #1, to the jokester who included two washers that weren't needed, touché. Second, the direction of the basket could have been more clearly stated. I had to take it apart and shift the direction. But all in all ok.

Hello Mike! They are extremely similar. They have the same cooking grid dimensions for cooking space. Your difference would be between the Master having plated steel cooking grates where the Kettle Premium has stainless steel cooking grates.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
