The iGrill mini grilling thermometer is a pocket-sized smart thermometer that takes the guesswork out of grilling. Powered by a free iOS and Android app and a wireless Bluetooth Smart connection, knowing exactly when to take your meat off the grill has never been easier. This grilling thermometer includes one food probe that can withstand temperatures up to 620 degrees Fahrenheit and magnetic mounting so you can place it just about anywhere. You can use the adhesive disc for mounting on non-magnetic surfaces. The Smart LED allows you to take a quick glance at temperature progression, going through an array of colors from green to red based on the doneness of your food. When using the temperature range setting, it will show when your temperature is too high or low. The iGrill mini also can intelligently sense when you are too far away from the unit to view the Smart LED and goes into a power save mode until you come back into range. With the 150 foot range of the Bluetooth connection, you can keep a close eye on your food while you are inside visiting with guests, watching the game or preparing a side dish. The free Weber iGrill app, available in the App Store, is your central dashboard that monitors the temperature and receives alerts when your food is ready to enjoy. The Weber iGrill App has support for multiple devices, and comes loaded with handy digital grilling tools such as custom alarms, exclusive recipes, temperature graphing and social sharing. The iGrill mini also comes with a battery so you can get started right away. Compatible with iPod touch 5th generation and later, iPhone 4s and later, iPad mini, iPad 3rd generation and later. The iGrill mini is also compatible with Android devices running Android version 4. 3 and higher.

Nice.

I just used my iGrill mini for the first time tonight. Wow. Perfectly grilled T-bone, medium. I'm not bad at judging the doneness of a steak on my own, but this is better. I'll be experimenting with it again soon. Maybe tomorrow night, maybe a different cut of moo.

Won't turn off

I just unboxed and turned on and linked to the app, no problem. Problem is that it won't turn off. Instructions say to hold the button until white display. It turns solid green for awhile then flashes red/blue/green then solid green again. Never white. No support line to call.

To reset an iGrill Mini, first remove and reinstall the battery. Then, locate and press the reset button behind the battery cover (it may require a pin or probe) for 5 seconds. Finally, "Disconnect" or "Forget" the iGrill Mini from Bluetooth settings on your smartphone and reconnect it in the Weber iGrill app.  Our Care team is here to help. Connection issues and drains batteries

I bought this back in Dec 2021 and have used it mostly as a backup probe or to monitor grill temp. The temp readings have always been fairly accurate, but it won't stay connected to the app unless you stand right next to it AND keep the app pulled up on your screen. It also eats through batteries at a ridiculous rate. I get maybe 2 cooks out of each battery (Duracell CR 2032's) and since they're the flat coin batteries they're not cheap to replace. The battery life issues are probably because it's constantly searching for a connection since it can't manage to keep one alive for more than a few minutes at a time. TL;DR; Don't buy. If you need a wireless remote temp probe, find one that connects to a dedicated station and not your phone.

Battery failed

I've only used my iGrill Mini maybe 6 times in the year I've had it and the battery died. Can it be charged?

Great thermometer

This is my second iGrill Mini. I had the first one for 6-7 years and it finally gave up the ghost. I bought a second one because it was so easy to monitor meat temperatures in my pellet grill. Perfect results for brisket, tri-tip, ribs, burgers, pork loin chops, and lamb chops.

Poor Quality and Suppot

Have used my eye grill mini for about one year. Started cooking a brisket today and when I plugged it in, it gave a reading of 190° and a brisket right out of the refrigerator. I tried resetting the device. The battery power is at 80% And it is currently reading 154° sitting in my basement. Obviously something in the electronics has failed and it's reading approximately plus or -75° higher than the actual probe temperature would not recommend purchasing this unit.

So far I have ruined...

So far I have ruined one piece of meat and almost ruined another using this. It sounds great using bluetooth and your cell phone but when you walk 30 foot away you loose connection and there is zero warning. Who stands beside the grill if they have a temp probe?

Won't turn on

I received the iGrill mini as a gift, used it a few time and seemed to work fine other than the Bluetooth always disconnecting. Now the device won't turn on. I've replaced the battery and tried to reset the unit, but now light come on. Terrible product

Years later, still going strong.

At least 4 years of use. So many great holiday meals with it. I'll use an instant read most of the time but these rule for the family holidays when you've got a couple hours of work. I did another Prime Rib roast this Christmas. Keep that oven closed! I put a new battery in it(1st time, I think). I had not used it for a year or more. Turned right on, waiting to be paired with my iphone XS Max on IOS 17. Set temp and went about my other prep. This thing has been stuck to the grill and rained on for a summer and generally neglected. If it's not working out of the box, make sure the protective sticker is removed from the battery, hold button a second or more until it started flashing blue(it will be dim), go to your bluetooth setting in your phone and select the igrill mini>connect, fire up the igrill app which you downloaded from the app store and start slingin' the goodness.

Hey John! Separate the iGrill Mini from its base by firmly holding the base with one hand and gently pulling the iGrill Mini upwards with the other hand. While still powered on, press down and remove the iGrill Mini battery door, press the reset button down with a pin for 5 seconds and replace the battery door. Hope this information helps!
