The Weber Spirit SP-335 features a stainless steel chassis and grilling surface that make this grill shine in more ways than one. It features 3 stainless steel burners that produce 32,000 BTUs and a 7,500 BTU Sear Station, each featuring battery powered electronic crossover ignition and infinite control burner valves for reliable performance. The specially designed searing area allows you to sear like a professional for restaurant-quality steaks, without taking away traditional grill space. The Spirit SP series propane gas grill boasts 7mm stainless steel rod cooking grates and stainless steel Flavorizer bars to effectively hold and distribute heat evenly over the 424 square-inch main cooking grid. The warming rack provides an additional 105 square inches for a total of 529 square inches of cooking area. Spirit grills come equipped with a front access grease tray with a catch pan to make clean-up as easy as possible. This Weber Spirit SP-335 also has a 12,000 BTU flush-mounted side burner that lets you multi-task while grilling by cooking side dishes and warming sauces right next to the grill. The stainless steel hood has a center-mounted thermometer to monitor cooking temperatures and painted cast-aluminum end caps. The grill has a painted steel frame and front-mounted control knobs to leave more room on the two stainless steel side shelves for prep space. The grill cart features a stainless steel door, stainless steel handles, painted side and rear panels and four heavy-duty casters (2 locking and 2 swivel). The enclosed tank storage area keeps your propane tank out of sight and the precision fuel gauge lets you know exactly where you stand on fuel at all times. | Replaced my 14 year old Weber by another WeberI bought a new Weber Spirit grill 3 weeks ago, to replace my 14 year old Weber Spirit. The old grill is still working well but the electronic starter had given up and rust was starting to attack the bottom of this amazing bbq. The assembly of the bbq was easy and results in a very solid unit. The new grill is definitely a step up with a side burner, stainless grills and a searing zone! | Best Value I could Find in CanadaI have been looking at and comparing new BBQs for 2 years. I wanted one with a stainless hood, stainless cooking grates, stainless bars over the burners, a side burner, a sear zone, and a rotisserie. But just a medium sized one. The SP-335 has everything but the rotisserie. As a bonus it has a tank gauge and there are pre-drilled holes on the right side to mount a rotisserie. I can still get the rotisserie kit and mount the motor bracket on the right side. It will not interfere with the lid over the side burner on the left side- something I was worried about before I got it and put it together. Another bonus is the bottom is completely enclosed and has a stainless door. We haven't had it very long but so far it has performed better than any other BBQ I have ever owned. I've gone through 8 or 9 BBQs over the years. This one beats them all by a long shot. It heats up fast and holds the heat very well (that's why I wanted a stainless hood -black radiates heat, shiny surfaces hold the heat). It will take less propane to keep it at temperature, making it more efficient, and save me money in the long run. With all the features I wanted I could not find another like it in the same price range. Only time will tell how it holds up. To help squeeze the most life out of it I picked up the Weber cover for it and the long handled Weber brush for stainless cooking grates. I'm glad I did as these are also better quality than the cheaper ones I looked at on the shelves. I'm a stickler for following instructions and doing things the right way. I'll be cleaning it as suggested in the instructions and we'll see how long it lasts. I seem to have written a book here -Sorry! but its all good. | Was This Helpful? |
