Love it! Fit was perfect and the information needed to transition to a griddle cooktop very helpful. Next up the 1/2 griddle insert if Weber makes one.

Good Product, extremely poor instructions in the Owner's Manual. The conflicting manual is a joke...and Customer Service was no help...they only proved that they could read the manual. The Seasoning and maintenance instructions are ridiculous...not only for me, but, many others.

The Weber griddle insert drops right into the grate system and heats up incredibly evenly. I've moved beyond just burgers to Saturday breakfast with bacon and pancakes. It's heavy-duty, easy to scrape clean, and essentially turns my grill into a full outdoor kitchen. It's heavy but I purhased the storage bag as well which makes it easier to store and transport.

Works as expected! The griddle came preseasoned and works for a variety of foods, so it increases the amount of things I can cook on the grill and thus how often I use the grill. Highly recommend!

The Griddle has a very Good quality and size. It is promoted as an accesory for the searwood pellet grill but it can't hold temperatures, so don't buy for this use.

So far so good!! Only made smash burgers so far and 1st try wasn't too bad! A little confusing as one place it says no need to season it but in instructions, it says for best results, here's how you season it.

Been wanting this since I bought my grill. Still getting used to it but really helps to keep the house and kitchen fresh by cooking outside. Very heavy duty griddle And works well with the Weber grill

The provided instructions provided with griddle accessory #6789 recommends seasoning your new griddle 7 times before using (even though it is sold "pre-seasoned". Following the directions exactly, after several cycles of the seasoning process, I noticed there were several areas on the griddle surface that were much darker in color and my applied canola oil was not evaporating at the same rate as the rest of the surface areas. After vigorously rubbing this areas, I found that there was rust under the factory applied seasoning. It appears to be that the factory that manufactured these for Weber applied their coating over rusted metal. Very disappointing given Webers history of quality products.

Hi Jim. This Weber Griddle Insert can only be used on Genesis models produced in 2016 and newer.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
