I bought their pellet version two years ago. Positives: It's built like a tank! Very well constructed material. Cons: Too many to mention A few highlights: -Don't think you can use this "outdoor" grill uncovered. If it'll rain or snow, pellets WILL GET WET therefore, clog the auger that puts the pellets in the fire pot. You'll have to disassemble the grill, pull out the pellets that have disintegrated in the auger due to getting wet. Completely ridiculous for a luxury high-end "outdoor" appliance. Had someone been honest with me telling me that only use it if it's has a roof over its head, I would've never bought it as you can see on the picture. I don't have a cover over my grills. -Replaced several parts, several times myself -Customer service does attempt to help somewhat but good luck having a service person look at it if you aren't in "their close" area. You'll be fixing it yourself, I know first hand! Overall, if I were just told that this appliance should be in a covered area, I would've not bought it. It is built like a tank like I mentioned however, I am so disappointed in my purchase for such a high-end costly appliance. I've decided to attempt to keep the rain off the pellet area with this picture as you see. Personally, I still think it's ridiculous. I contacted management to see about a "trade in" for a gas grill. Nope. Buy something else, period.

Perfect state of the art pellet grill

Constant problems with this grill. 1. The computer board had a design flaw and broke within months. New replacement was designed differently. 2. It will start and burn out immediately. It will not feed more pellets. Tech support can not figure how to fix it. I'm replacing it now anger a couple years of little use.

I purchased this grill for nearly $10k thinking it would be the best grill/smoker out there. I've had it for over a year and it still hasn't completed a single cook. It has never worked properly. They don't have their own customer service...it is done by a third party and it is awful. I'm probably going to just throw it out at this point because the company won't make it right and replace the grill. Don't waste your money on this overpriced brand. I liked the idea of made in the USA, but their service is non-existent.

The grill that was delivered to me does not work. Yes the construction in top notch. But who cares if it does not work. The grill would start to heat up and then just quit. Hopper is small and it does leak in the rain. I have scheduled the return. Going with the Yoder.

I feel validated reading the other reviews. Temp is unstable and drops dramatically and sporadically. Pellet hopper is stupid tiny - smoking a brisket requires more attention than it should as a result. I seriously thought the thing was broken. What a waste. The only good thing is the quality of the grates makes it super easy to clean.

Had this smoker 3 years now. 1 - I simply cannot get the wifi & temp probes to work more than about 2 months. I call, get it fixed, and 2 months later, they go out again. Just not reliable. 2 - Something is wrong with the design of this smoker. It blows a LOT of ash onto the meat. Each time I go out and check it manually (because the probes simply won't work) I have to blow off a significant layer of ash on the food. Terrible design. 3 - You simply CANNOT smoke at less that 225F if the outdoor temperature is below 60F. Ridiculous. My friends have Trager, Louisiana Grills, etc. and have none of the issues I listed above.

Tried smoking chicken at 225, zero smoke or smoke flavor. Very disappointed

Had a cheaper pellet smoker prior to this and when designing an outdoor kitchen decided to make this the center piece. It has been a complete disaster and can help with a couple specific examples of the types of issues we have encountered: 1- the grill does not work when the ambient temperature is under 50 degrees. 2- the app is a disaster. Check out the reviews for twin eagles app as most users cannot use it. 3-the drawer for pellets fills with water when it rains so make sure you buy the optional cover if you are crazy enough to buy it. 4- the grill is extremely inconsistent getting to temperature even after waiting for warmer days and using brand new pellets. Customer service has been friendly and happy to provide ideas for work around but to date as no interest in doing anything tangible. Wish you the best with your grill choices!

This grill is a big waste of money. It does not maintain the temperature you set and when you report it to technical support they say it is your variables. They told me that you shouldn't grill below 50 degrees or in high winds. Texas in July doesn't meet that criteria. Stay away and go get a Memphis built in unit!
Questions & Answers
Hi Five. Pellet usage is going to run about a pound of pellets per hour, depending on ambient temperature.
Asked by Five Gz | Answered by WesleyHi Trevor! If you are placing your grill into an outdoor kitchen island composed of any combustible material, then an insulated jacket is definitely required. If you need an insulated jacket, the Twin Eagles 36-Inch insulated will fit this model. You can view it on our website here: https://www.bbqguys.com/twin-eagles/insulated-jacket-for-36-inch-3-burner-gas-grill-teij36

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
