Choose Primo and experience the best in kamado style charcoal cooking. The distinct shape of the Oval Large allows you to cook using direct or indirect heat, expanding your grilling options unlike any other kamado-style grill. This grill features easy to clean and reversible stainless steel cooking grates, as well as one of the highest sitting lids which is great for cooking whole chickens or turkeys. This kamado style grill is made in the USA, unlike its competition, and constructed with premium grade Primo SuperCeramics and coated with a protective, lead-free, and scratch-resistant porcelain glaze. The patented Primo Oval Large efficiently retains and evenly distributes heat across the 300 square inches of cooking surface, perfect for maintaining a consistent temperature. Smoke meat at temperatures as low as 180 degrees Fahrenheit, or turn up the heat to more than 500 degrees Fahrenheit for searing and grilling. Use the 6-position cast aluminum chimney cap, 5-position stainless steel lower vent door, and easy to read thermometer for monitoring and keeping a precise temperature. The chimney cap also features a hood to keep out rain for all-weather grilling. Newly designed for 2021, the easy lift-and-lock hinge system keeps the lid raised in place, now requiring 70-percent less force to open than previous models. A soft-close felt gasket protects the ceramic while opening and closing the lid using the newly designed cool touch handle, now featuring integrated retaining clips to help keep the ceramic top firmly in place. Heat-safe ceramic feet are available to stabilize your Primo and are needed when the grill sits on a combustible surface (sold separately). The variety of accessories available, along with the unique oval shape, allows flexibility in cooking a never ending list of delicious meals. Choosing a Primo kamado style grill is a decision you will never regret.

Chiney Falls Off the lid
I'm not sure if it is a poorly designed or bad quality control, or both. The chiney is not snugly fit on the top of the lid, so when the lid is opend the chimney leans to the back and falls off. To avoid the chimney falling off, you have to hold on to it while lifting the lid up, and the chimney is hot. You have to have someone hold it, while you working on the meats, or If just by yourself, you have to take it off then the grill temperture will change. It's an easy fix, but c'mon Primo, for the price, you should make it right. It tooks me months to decide between the Kamado Joe and Primo. I paid more to get the Primo plus its assential accessories because it's made the USA, but I'm really disappoited. I called the customer service this morning and I was told to take the photos of the chimney falling of the lid. They want to see how it happens before helping me. Sorry, English is my second language. I hope you guys get what I want to explain about the problem.

New design poorly implements Kamado Joe features
New chimney topper brings Kamado Joe's design to Primo, but it falls off when the lid is opened. It is only pressure fit, and the fit is too loose to stay put. When you fully open the chimney, it leans way to the side because of the loose fit. Open the lid in this position and it falls off, gets scratched up, and never looks right again. They were 5 months late bringing this new design to market, and the chimney won't even stay on! The new stainless grates are nice, the new spring assist actually assists in lifting the lid, and all the old goodness is still there. But the chimney is a disaster.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we’ve all come to expect for small parcels, so it’s important that you’re prepared and understand what’s required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We’ll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can’t be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we’ve only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don’t require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren’t required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you’re home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you’re out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
$6.95 Flat-Rate Shipping
Anything under $49 ships at one low price. If your order increases, your shipping stays the same!
Return all new, unused, and unassembled items in their original packaging, and we'll give you a full refund minus the cost of the original AND return shipping.
No Restocking Fee
Most companies charge a restocking fee. We just don't do business that way.
So, why are some orders being affected? Major ports around the world are still operating at reduced capacity because of COVID-19 restrictions — on average, container boats sit at port for about 3 weeks before being unloaded. Combine these shipping inefficiencies with a scarcity of natural resources, and virtually every industry has been crippled to some degree. Yet we acknowledge that it’s our duty to meet these challenges head-on and work toward solutions so you can enjoy more time outdoors with the people you love. We appreciate your patience as we strive to smooth out our supply chain, and we thank you for choosing us for your grilling and outdoor living needs.
