Bought a few months ago and originally left 2 stars because it came damaged and I couldn't get in touch with anybody. I had to bend it back into shape myself and then seal everything just to avoid crazy temp swings. Since then it hasn't been back but then they left a comment on my review asking me to reach out to see what happened. I did and I was left on hold for over an hour a never got anybody again so I'm changing my review to 1 star just for the customer service. Get a Weber Smokey Mountain instead
This barrel smoker is pretty awesome! I've used it 3 times and have learned a great way to set up the fuel. I probably would have given this a 5 star, but the only thing holding me back was the grease catch at the bottom. I just wish it was bigger.

The product is excellent, the customer service is terrible. I am very happy with the smoker, I sealed every attachment point and seam with high temp silicone and it has performed perfectly. The only issue I have is the dial on the intake moves so it makes the numbers/markings useless, but I'm accustomed to eyeballing my vents anyway, so it's only mildly inconvenient. I'm still getting everything dialed in, but I'm confident that with practice I'll be able to set this thing up and let it run on it's own for hours. Don't bother contacting Oklahoma Joe's customer service though, they are extremely rude, completely useless, and, if I hadn't already owned the product they would have turned me off from spending any money with them at all.

Box came a little damaged. Didn't notice any major damage when putting it together but after fully complete noticed a slight bend in the bottom drum. Barely noticeable. Used it quite a few times and I've had some pretty bad temp swings and can't hold steady temps. Not sure if it is the bend or not
This smoker is amazing! The only thing I would change is the handle, it makes it hard to move around. The handle needs to be longer and higher for more leverage. It cooks like a dream.
The build quality is amazing and it is so easy to use. Recommend to everyone I can.

Bought mine a couple years ago. It's the best smoker I've ever owned wish I had 10 of them. Used it to cook brisket on in a competition and placed with it!!
After watching several videos and reading multiple reviews, I took the plunge and purchased a pro (black). It arrived slightly bent and the screws didn't quite fit properly. As a matter of fact, as I was tightening one of the factory screws, it snapped right off. So, I made some structural adjustments and also purchased/used stainless steel bolts/screws (1/4"x20x5/6 screws). Finally got the thing put together after a few trips to the hardware store. Assembly itself was simplistic, other than the issues listed above, which was nice. During the burn-in, I noticed the charcoals burn hot and fast, which isn't a bad thing at all. Does exactly what it's suppose to do. Afterwards, I reloaded the charcoal and wood chunks (mesquite), adjusted both intakes to 1-2 and put on some St. Louis Style Ribs. Temperature has been steady at 225 for about and hour…just the way I like it with smoke streaming out. I'm 1-hour into my rib cook and will let you know how it turns out. So far, so good! We'll see!

Innovative design which allows ease of use, temperature control, mobility, cleaning, and a delicious end result!
I've had my Pro for over a month now and I've cooked everything on it! I've done 12 racks of ribs on it that came out awesome! Pork butts and chicken have turned out excellent! The 20lb brisket I cooke I did have to add more charcoal about half way through with the temps in the 30s but it turned out wonderful!

Questions & Answers
Hi Meri. Oklahoma Joe's Bronco Drum does not have a door for adding charcoal. It does have an oversized charcoal basket and users have reported being able to hold temperatures around 275 for at least 12 hours.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
