Good charcoal grill for the money. The grate for the charcoal is too course if you use lump char coal. A lot of smaller pieces fall right through and don't get utilized for the burn. It is probably. O.K. if you use briquets. I replaced mine with expanded metal. Air controls are on the side and not underneath, giving you some control. You may consider drilling another larger air hole below the charcoal for better burn.

This is a great little grill. I'm single, so I don't need a large grill. Easy to clean and store. Easy to put together.

I purchased two of the grill lights and they must have had bad production run. The lights would not slide on easily or off at all unless it popped the mount open. I was really surprised since this was a Weber product. I reached out for warranty service and Giovanna replied to my request. Talk about great customer service! She was prompt in responding, I sent along the proof of purchase etc and next thing you know replacements were being sent out. The new lights are what I expected easy on easy off and light the surface perfectly.

This is an outstanding grill. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five as I wish the vents for air intake were below the charcoal level so that air would flow across the charcoal. Still an outstanding grill don't be afraid to load it up with charcoal.

The Weber Smokey Joe is a very competent, durable, and portable charcoal grill for up to four people. For years, it was the most used grill in my outdoor cooking equipment.

Thank you for your feedback regarding the Smokey Joe Premium. We are sorry to learn that you are disappointed with the temperature control of your new charcoal grill. We recommend keeping the bottom damper open all the way when grilling, and to use the top damper to control the temperature. If both dampers are kept all the way open, the fuel will burn fastest and hottest, and the more you close it, the cooler the temperatures will be. Our Care is reaching out to follow up. I have used this thing 4 times, every time the coals go cold. Does not matter whether I have all the vents wide open or the type of charcoal I use.

It is all that it says it is. Directions for use and cooking the perfect hamburger, steak and pork chop are right on target. Easy to build a fire with the Weber chimney.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
