Weber Slate 36-in Rust-Resistant Natural Gas Griddle - Black - 1502035

Great so far, already used it 4 times since having built it 4 days ago. Build time was only 1hr, everything went together easily. Pro tip, build each page without fully tightening the screws until the pieces fit together right then tighten. This is my first griddle and it cooks better than I thought it would. Will be getting tons of use out of this. I live in a windy area and on high wind periods the cook top will have patches where it's much hotter than the rest even across the flame line. It's not perfect, but I haven't had a chance to cook under perfect conditions outside. My only gripe and this may not be possible, but that the knobs would have at least a guesstimate of what the temps should be roughly. It does show quarter flame and half flame, but I have no idea what temp that should get the griddle to. This is where experience with it over time comes in.

I love my Weber slate, although I was really surprised to see that the mini fold out table was rusting after only one year. I saw that the paint was starting to bubble because Rust was under the paint.. Fortunately, I've always had great support from Weber and their support team sent me a new mini table. I hope it does not occur again. Other than that one issue so far. this griddle is awesome.

Great purchase will last a long time, I have owned other Weber grills that have lasted many years

I ordered it almost a month ago and still haven't received it.

I previously owned for 1 year a 36" Weber Griddle that I enjoyed using greatly but the exterior deteriorated quicker than a paper bag in the rain. I upgraded to the SLATE which I find cooks the same however at a significant price point difference I am hoping it will not become another wet paper bag in 12 months like its predecessor.

Hi there Weber, I was so excited to purchase a Weber and yet here we are two months later and I am still waiting on my hardware. Despite three different email threads and countless phone calls… nobody can help. The last email I got from you guys was threatening me that if you don't hear back from me, we will consider this case closed…. Unreal. I replied to that email and yet two weeks later… no response again. Please let me know what you are going to do from me or this will become quite the social media saga.

Impressive quality, huge grilling area, heat is consistent. Very sturdy! Well worth the money!!

The 1st Slate was delivered damaged. The cardboard box was in perfect condition, but the Slate wasn't. Dented lid & crooked fire box. Called customer service, spoke to a barely English speaker in Honduras who sent me a new lid and naked firebox. I called back & asked for a supervisor. I objected to having to de-construct the damaged firebox and put the parts in the new firebox. Due to living in a rural town, no product specialists were available therefore I was sent a new Slate. Weber rightfully wants the damaged Slate and parts back but after 3 weeks, it is still in my garage. Weber tells me that they are trying to find a truck to send. Overall, not a great experience with Weber but the new Slate works flawlessly.

The Weber Slate 36" has completely exceeded my expectations! It heats evenly, cooks everything beautifully, and the large cooking surface makes it perfect for family meals and entertaining. From breakfast to smash burgers, this griddle has quickly become one of my favorite outdoor cooking setups.
