Oklahoma Joe's Bronco Drum Smoker & Grill - 25203120

First and foremost I wasn't a fan of the customer service, which seems to be an increasingly trend with Oklahoma Joes. My unit arrived damaged, scratched down to the metal in parts, box completely missing in spots and could not get any adequate help even after I provided photos, had phone calls and videos. It was extremely frustrating considering the amount of money spent. Say what you want about Pit Boss, but their customer service runs laps around everyone else and they would have jumped through hoops to fix it. After getting through the frustrating start, I was able to assemble the unit, also having issues latching the door properly as mentioned in other reviews. I've been using the unit for about half a year and I've been impressed at the quality of the food it produces. Yes, it would be nice if they button up some of the mechanical flaws like the door but all in all it's a been a really solid unit so far. I'm really glad for the purchase but not sure I'll order future smokers as it doesn't give me a lot of confidence if something does go wrong that I will get much support.

Great to use the app in junction with the instructions. More tips would be appreciated, especially around tightening and maybe even torque value recommendations.

The instructions are very easy to understand. KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) and they did!

Easy to put together, even though fedex just slid it off the back of their box truck.

Lower door would not latch. Contacted customer service and their helpful solution was to return it to the store I bought it from and hope the new one works better. If that did work, hope the store had a prebuilt one I could buy. Customer service did say they have seen their products shipped with warped metal. Very disappointed.

We love it and like that the size is great for our space. Easy to use and love the results!

Smoker is heavy duty however the door is junk. Purchased new 1 day ago and put it together. The door sags down and doesn't latch. I called customer service and they linked in thru my phones camera so I could show them the problem. The customer care agent said I should just bend the latch back with my hands. Its solid round bar, not possible. I think the doors warped. There finally going to send me a latch but she said they cant replace the door. So if this doesn't work I've gotta take it apart and bring back to the store per Oklahoma Joe customer service rep. I should have just bought a weber smokey mountain.

Best investment EVER, PERIOD. You will become a pro using this smoker and you will endeavor into a serious addiction.

I got this smoker when it first came out. I got it when it was on sale when u could still get the og version. I ordered an extra grate and got the griddle I honestly couldn't be more happy with it. The upgrade door to the fuel source is an upgrade drum smokers need for those long cooks. The only con to this bronco is you can't find anything about this smoker no videos not one review almost nothing on YouTube or anyone even talking about this drum smoker. Not only is this a smoker a grill a flat top it's even cook a pizza and bread. Yal really need to work on yols product marketing cause you are dropping the ball unless you want this to be a well kept secret.

I purchased this smoker in October 2025. Overall I like the smoker except for one problem. The fuel access door is poorly designed. It sags when is open and it doesn't close tight enough. I'm guessing it's because the hinge may need a more substantial way to attach it to the grill.. I hope the engineers will look at this issue and fix it even though it is too late for my grill.
