This 36-in extra-deep vent hood is engineered to manage smoke and heat in outdoor kitchen environments. Its 1,000-CFM internal blower delivers strong airflow, with four speed settings that allow precise control based on cooking conditions.
Six commercial-style structural baffles help prevent grease from entering the ductwork while allowing easy access to the interior for routine maintenance and service. I guess Blaze products are just cheaply made and unreliable. First the outdoor fridge stopped working, and now the vent hood no longer works. Customer service at Blaze are sending "parts". But those parts are only based on what I told them over the phone was not working. No onsite visit and you have to pay out of pocket for service and repairs. There have to be better options out there. Avoid Blaze products.

Extremely frustrated with this product. It cuts off at the absolute worst times. Anytime I cook for more than 8 people the steaks, chicken, ribs or burgers (anything you'll want to grill). It shuts off. Yes it was installed per the specs. It sits over a 36" blaze grill. It's vented through the roof. My guess is it's a cheap design with a big price tag.

I had my Blazer Hood/Grill for about 3 yrs, I've been using it every day for the last year and a half, 90% carnivor diet, I always grill the meat/burgers etc, dont use air fryer nor frying pan. the vents and light knobs came unglued so I reglued them, that was the only issue I had.

Do not buy if you want a finished product. They advertise duct covers on different websites but when you go to purchase they say sorry we haven't made the product yet. We are in the process of making them. You can pay someone to build a custom one or have a metal shop fabricate one but why spend big $ on a hood that doesn't have all the finishing parts?

Do not buy this vent hood. If you are trying to cook for a large group and need to cook longer than 20 minutes, be prepared for the vent to cut off and smoke everyone out of the area. It's extremely embarrassing if you are entertaining and trying to feed a crowd. According to customer service, there is a sensor on the vent that will shut it off if the ambient temperature reaches 275 degrees!! What???? Our vent is less than a year old and it seems nobody wants to honor the warranty. This vent is 100% junk. Don't waste your money!! Search youtube. There is a 2 part review on this exact vent.

When it comes to install you new hood you'll find out that there is no available duct covers for the Blaze. You will need to have one prefabricated for you out of 22-gauge stainless steel or cement board. No mention of this problem on product description or even during phone call with sale person.

The vent works as it is supposed to and was not hard to install. But Blaze offers no standard adjustable duct cover to fit this model. First i was told to look at the Trade Winds option but the depth of the cover does not appear to be correct to match Blaze. Then i was told to to go see a fabricator and have one made. Really! I was told this was because there is no standard height. Kind of interesting that other manufacturers have an adjustable cover option for varying heights. The hood has threaded inserts in the top for mounting a duct cover as if they intended to make a cover. Leaves my installation completely unfinished. The only real option is to build a box around the duct and cover finish trim it out. If someone is aware of an option otherwise i would appreciate the help. Thanks Blaze for all your help.

Hi! The 36-inch Blaze Outdoor Hood only needs one 8-inch duct.
Asked by NA | Answered by WesleyAs shipped, there is a single 8" adapter on the top of the hood. You will need however many lengths of 8" vent pipe to reach from the top of the unit to the exhaust cap on the roof. From my iPhone!
Asked by NA | Answered by rhockertHi Tom. The Blaze Exhaust Hood requires an 8-inch duct to a wall cap capable of at least 1200 CFM. Your HVAC installer should have everything needed to install this hood.
Asked by Tom | Answered by WesleyHi Danny. The vent should be hooked up to a 10 Amp breaker. There is no stated maximum length for the ducting, but a general rule would be 50-60 feet total. Shorter is always better!

When will my item arrive?

If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
