Solid body and heating elements however grills rust far too quickly. Rating very largely based on the quality of the grills and the fact they need to be replaced so quickly.

Where can you get replacement grids? Lowe's doesn't carry them. Even though we keep the grill on the back covered porch, the grids have rusted! :( Love the grill but the grids are not good.

My wife gave me this grill for Fathers Day and after 18 months the grates look like pictures in previous post. I follow the manufactures recommendations before and after cooking to no avail,grates still rust.

I have had this grill for 2 seasons and it is a great grill, although the cast iron tops are rusted beyond use and they want one quarter the price of a new grill, just for the grids! I am having a hard time justifying this.

I also have the Baron 400. I was looking into replacement grates as well because just over 1 year old and mine are also unusable. Chipping and rusted out completely. Was considering stainless but not sure they make stainless for every model, or at least I couldn't find them. Love the grill, just wish the cast iron would have lasted and hope I have a stainless option.

I purchased a Baron S490 on 4/3/16. I have to voice the same displeasure as many other people. These grates rust horribly. I purchased this grill in hopes of not having to worry about things like this for a long time and it has taken less than a year. I hope Broil King compensates us somehow because these grills are not cheap. Again, I love the grill but the grates are junk! Need to go with the stainless grates I guess.

We bought this grill a year ago and it is unusable at this point. We researched grills before we bought this grill. I am so disappointed with the grill racks. They are completely rusted. Sad to see this is a problem for this grill. I am hoping customer service will make this right.

The Baron 320 is a wonderful BBQ but the biggest disappointment are the grills. I purchased the unit in Sept. of 2013 and after one year I started to notice the rust. I clean it regularly and use a cover after each use. My grills look like all the other pictures in the reviews. Would be nice if the company would provide the grills at a reasonable price and not the outrageous prices I see in stores and on the web. I just need grills not a new BBQ!

We bought this 3 years ago and the cooking grids rusted and flaked to the point we cannot use it anymore, despite taking proper care of the unit and the grids themselves. The BBQ itself is fantastic - nice, even heat, and the fold down sides make it great for storage! We are considering the SS grids but we're not sure if they're compatible...

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
