I have had cheap BBq's over the years where they fell apart...except the acutal cooking grills. So, I spent the money on a "quality" bbq and my cast iron cooking grills have totally disintegrated after only 2 years. The rest of the BBq is fine...totally opposite than the cheap BBQs. I cover the BBQ and even bring it into the garage over the winter. I season and clean the grids as directed. Extremely disappointed in this.

Nice bbq, 2nd one have bought, 1 at home and 1 at cottage. Unfortunately cast iron grates rust out quickly even after many "seasonings". Of the 5 grates only e are still usable. Have to replace and will have to try the stainless steel ones once I find reasonable prices on grates. Disappointed in lasting quality.

Well, same as everyone else here...not too happy with the grill only because of these grates. Trying to find a generic alternative so I don't have to pay these exorbitant prices for cheap replacements. Obviously 1.3 stars tells the story. Do Not Buy.

Bought a Baron grill with the cast iron cooking surface in 2017. Followed Broil King's recommended servicing for the cast iron consistently because of the price that I had paid for the grill; however, the cast iron surface didn't last two years before being complete useless.

Unfortunately the quality is just not there on these grill grates. Sad, as other parts of this grill are excellent.

I oiled my grates each use but they rusted badly. The grill cooks great.

I line-up my sausages and hot dogs on the grill using the cooking grids below to keep them perfectly aligned. Makes sure that all the dogs/sausages are done to the same level of cooking at the same time. Free tip from me to you.

Only 2nd summer using the grill and the grates are falling apart and need to be replaced. Seeing others reviews here and on home improvement stores it appears this is a widespread issue.

We've had our grill for two years, I'm a chef and have properly seasoned and cared for the cast iron but much like the other reviewers there are huge flakes separating from the grill grates and it is unusable. We are a military family and take care of our items so they don't have to be replaced every time we move. Completely unacceptable

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
