Where can you get replacement grids? I have seasoned mine every 2 months and they still rusted and are on their last leg.

I have the baron 490 and the grills are rusty despite the regular maintenance I provide. I have followed the recommandations but doesnt remove or stop the rusty.

Don't go by the reviews of the people who don't know how to take care of cast iron. You have to season them before first use. I also spray them with a kitchen pump oil sprayer. You have to keep them oiled and then they won't rust. Especially if you have a long cook time the heat burns out the oil. Also if you don't plan on using it for a few months make sure to oil it. Food tastes better than any propane grill I've ever used because of the cast iron.

I bought this my Baron grill in 2015. No issues with anything else but the grids. This is my second set and I oil them after ever use. Looks just like all of the other pics you see. pay for the Stainless steel if its an option...

I have had my Broil King Baron for 5 years now. In the first few months the grill grates rusted badly (they were properly seasoned prior to use). I contacted Broil King and they sent out a set of new grates at no charge. This is summer #5 (I use my grill year round) I season my grates twice a year and they are rusting again. I am not disappointed at all since i use my grill year round, I live in Michigan where the temperature varies greatly. The key to the longevity of any grill is to keep it clean, and always make sure the grill is completely cool before covering so moisture does not form. I am going to order the stainless steel replacement grates this time since my grill is getting older. I will post in the future how i like the new grates.

Bought 9/26/18, love the grill hate the grates!!!! Seasoning these grates is BS, will never ever buy grill with cast iron grates.Always covered previous Broil King 20+years lasted 15 years before this problem arose. They must have switched to made in China grates. Cheap cut coating or whatever.

I am on my 3rd set of these grates just into my 4th year of owning. The grill itself is great. But something needs to be done by BK regarding these cast iron grates. Price to replace is ridiculous just to have them rust again. Flavor bars are bad as well.

Avid griller and used to taking care of a grill. I love the Broil King grills and this is my second one. I ordered Cast Iron Grates for this one due to better searing qualities, but have been sadly disappointed, I season them about every 4-6 months and they are still rusting away. The cast iron must be very low quality, I would reccomend sticking with Stainless Steel, BK's quality department needs to work out some supplier quality issues I feel.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
