I love the fact that my deadwood has the option to be used as a griddle with this insert. It's not as big as a full griddle but it definitely has enough room to fit everything I need. I've cooked breakfasts and smash burgers on it and it cleans up easily.

Perfect way to put the full size griddle away after cleaning. The bag both keeps the griddle clean and provides a convenient way to move it around. Best of all the bag is built to handle the weight of the griddle for long term use.

I ordered a griddle cover for my husband, to go along with the griddle insert. When I ordered the griddle insert (the 400 series), it led me to the incorrect cover. Because it was suggested as an add on purchase, I never checked to make sure it was the correct size. I only realized this error after the 30 days had passed. At first, I was told 30 days has passed and there was nothing that could be done. However, Weber made this right and compensated me for the incorrectly purchased product. When I look online now, it seems that the error on the website has also been corrected.

I ordered a griddle cover for my husband, to go along with the griddle insert. When I ordered the griddle insert (the 400 series), it led me to this cover. WHICH IS INCORRECT. I'm only realizing my error in ordering now 30 days after I purchased the product. Because it's past 30 days, Weber will not allow me to exchange this product for the correct one. But they'd be happy to help me find the right one to buy. I will be doing that through AMAZON, as their customer service is far superior. So much for going directly to the company to buy. Hugely disappointing.

The bag auto populated as an option with the 4 burner griddle insert so I added it to the cart. When I received the bag it is a bag for a 3 burner spirit not the 4 burner genesis. If it auto populates at least the right item should be associated with what you buy.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
