Great 30´´griddle it wasn't the one that I wanted but they had no more…one side of the griddle come down but the one that I have doesn't and it hard to get a cover for it .. I love it so much that I should of got the 36'' instead to bad I didn't choose it 🥲

I got the 30" Slate and couldn't be more happy. I am a former fine dining chef so I know my way around a kitchen and its utilities. This griddle is amazing. 2 simple burn ins to season and right to smashburgers. They turned out amazing. Just finished with breakfast on it this morning (fried potato's, bacon, eggs) and couldn't ask for a better piece of equipment.

Griddle is great to cook smash burgers.. Recommend cooking any type of breakfast items on low…Griddle gets hot vey fast on higher temps. Keeping my griddle covered and in my garage ..Rust Resistant griddle is a must and justifies cost of the Weber. Must pay very close attention to assembly instructions…screws are easy to strip or get stuck putting the side tables on the grill. Weber needs to correct this assembly issue for ease of assembly.

The Good: - - Love having a griddle Pancakes are awesome to make. The Bad: - - Having some trouble with food sticking so already have scratches on griddle area.. So not so sure about their "Rust" claim. Looked a bit sketchy while I was cleaning up after the last meal. - - Arrived with tank holder missing. The Ugly: - - Bought this as a Father's Day Present for my Husband - shipping was slow and sat for days without update. Needless to say it didn't arrive on time. At one point the tracking system stated that they had made a call to me to schedule delivery and left a message - which was untrue. When I called in questioning the tracking comment - (which is another absolute nightmare in itself, disconnected multiple times, transferring, and made to feel like I was a bother) I was told : "They pre-filled the tracking comments, was just getting ready to call" -- proceeded to state my delivery area was only available on Tuesdays & Thursdays and they were all booked up to deliver that week, however the following week they could - -which unfortunately didn't work out because we would be away. So.. scheduled it for the following with Delivery Date (July 2nd) confirmed before ending the call. This would be making us wait an additional 2 weeks.. Bummer. Fast Forward to being away on vacation I get a voicemail (June 25) - didn't provide their name or company just: "Delivery and no one is answering the door" - I called back, the guy kept calling me someone else's name. Told him that it wasnt my name & just wanted to let him know they had the wrong number. He said "Well it was the address and your phone number." When I asked what the address was & what the delivery was -- "Dont know, it's on a pallet at your garage." And the number disconnected.... Now I'm thinking I have been scammed.. Or I have poor Jasmine's pallet of who knows what. Then the email ding "Your order has been delivered" It wasn't for a couple hours that I could get someone over to my house to check out the delivery.. which thankfully, i wasn't scammed. It did end up being the Slate Grill I ordered. But man that was a nightmare!! And quite a bold move to leave such an expensive delivery just hanging out with no one there to sign/accept.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
