So I'm an old griddle guy and recently moved on to the Weber Slate. The quality and performance of the Slate is amazing and definitely a higher quality cooktop than anything I've used in my past. The features are top notch, but simple and well thought out. Definitely recommend the Weber Slate and it's ready to cook surface!

Regrettably, I am unable to enjoy my recent purchase. A 30" Slate griddle, brand new ,out of the box has not worked since I got it. The staff on the phone has been professional, but as of today, I am still waiting for a technician to contact me for the repair. I have enjoyed Weber products for some time,however, this time I feel I purchased a "lemon".

Grill is very nice. Be aware there are different models. One with folding side table and one without. I wanted the folding but found out the model I ordered did not come with it. When I spoke to Weber I was told I'd have to send the entire unit back and order another. Step one in the assembly process is to cut open the entire box. There's no chance to put it back together. I was willing to pay for the folding side table but Weber does not offer.

DFun to use. Fairly easy to assemble but Weber has definitely moved away from their toolless quick assembly philosophy). Everyone in the family uses it! Pre seasoned and a breeze to clean! Great for breakfast, lunch and dinner cooking.

The appearance and build of this griddle is fantastic. The size works well for a family of 6 and the nonstick surface works well. I've used it almost every day since receiving it and appreciate ones ability to move food around the surface to keep things warm while cooking other items.

I love the fact that after using the griddle I can be rest assured that the next cook when I take my cover off all I have to do is turn it on and cook I don't have to worry about it being rusted up. It is worth paying a little more for the slate top just to have peace of mind.

Have cooked a number of meals on the Slate and very pleased with its performance. Heats up quickly, temp across the cooktop is very even, front corner grease trap is great. Clean up was easy compared to my last flattop - with one J gave it a good scraping, add a little water to steam off any hard spots and dried it off. Took 2-3 minutes to complete. I got the 30 inch model, was use to a 36 flattop but I do not miss the extra space. It's expensive but I'm finding worth the money

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
