Weber GENESIS S-435 Propane Grill w/ Cover, Griddle & Sear Grate

Great grill! I have a 20 year old genesis gold that i gave to my son in law and it was still going strong but this new grill is on a whole different level.I have gotten a griddle to go with it and i am loving it.

This grill has exceeded my expectations so far. Unlike other grills I previously owned, this is one heavy solid grill. The quality is unmatched! As for the food, so far I haven't burned anything yet ;)

What a great grill, a secondary to my Summit S-670. I love the cast iron sear grate I added. Unfortunately it doesn't come with the L-shaped smoker box and Weber will not send me the part # for it to order - disappointing, hence the lesser rating (not the product, rather the Customer Service). The side storage compartment could be better attached through using more/better fastening points, and backlit knobs like my Summit would have been nice for the pricepoint.

In response to your questionnaire Im please with the performance of my new Weber Genesis grill! However, Im quite disappointed with the quality of the component parts. Moldeled plastic enstead of steel & brass. May I prevail on you to have a representative contact me, I need to order replacement parts for my 20 year old Weber charcoal Kettle grill w/gas biquettes lighter

Nice grill upgrade from previously owned Genesis Gold. I like that this one can heat up more - helpful with several foods. However, find it very difficult to retrieve and re-install the propane tank under the grill in the enclosed cabinet. Also, storage is actually limited based on shelve configuration. The wheel stops/brakes don't work either. One final issue is with the price - family purchased it for me for Father's Day; I wouldn't have spent this much for this grill (overpriced) and would have either purchased smaller Weber grill or one from one of the competitors with similar features.

Nicely packaged, and very well made. I'm still getting used to the grill, but after a few burgers and steaks I'm getting there. The heat seems to be very consistent across all the burners. I would have liked this to be a 5 "true" burner system as there is a bit of separation between the burners compared to other grills I've had in the past (Kenmore 6 burner as well as a Charbroil 4 burner). Both of those had the burners about 1" closer to each other than this one. I have yet to use the "sear zone" because I've really never had luck with searing steaks. One day I may, but not yet. Problem areas? Instructions right off had a wrong box to be used for assembly. It took me a bit of time to figure out which box was really needed. I also felt the gas manifold being pre-hosed wasn't a great idea. It needed to be bent around and I was very worried about breaking those lines. The Match holder for manual lighting doesn't have a good place to sit either. I think it would have been better on the right side of the grill with a small hook to hold the loop. I did have a part that came in damaged, but Weber was on point for replacing the part without question. Kudo's to Weber on top notch customer service, but I will say, paying that much for a grill? I should hope so. I do feel this Grill is going to last me a solid 10 years or more.

I have always wanted a Weber grill but could not afford the investment. I wish that I had gone ahead and invest years ago! A good friend is still grilling on his fathers old Weber and it is 25+ years old. The investment will pay off in the years you will have this high quality, well built grill. Had one small issue with broken handle spacers but it was addressed quickly by the professionals at Weber! The wide range of accessories and grilling surfaces is amazing and again, all high quality stuff! I'll never own anything but a Weber from here on out and look forward to grilling on this one for years to come.

First time Weber Owner… Consistent heat! Large grilling space, even when you swap out one side for one of their MANY accessories!! Nice sized prep area on the right side, left side houses a burner for pots or pans. I've use both the Pizza Stone and Griddle and have had wonderful success with both! Making everything from scratch pizza and cookies on the stone to breakfast basics (bacon, sausage, eggs) and veggies on the griddle. Searing station gives you that much needed punch of heat to get a great sear! Steaks are cooked evenly throughout!! Pretty easy to assemble, I did it on my own, but having two sets of hands would have been more ideal. I'm looking for many years use out of this bad boy and taking my grilling up a few notches!!

Great grill. It's large but it heats fast and cooks beautifully.
