Bought the grill, 2 months in and the doors and front started rusting....they told me this happens and gave me a bottle of cleaner. then said sorry there is nothing we can do.....JUST TERRIBLE. Now after going on social media they sent me two new doors, that are on back order till sept!!!

It's a great grill however the igniter does not work and the instructions for assembly were very confusing. They need more clarity.

Like it overall, but the auto light doesn't work for one of my burners. I have to close the lid and the gas light eventually.

After extensive research, I settled on the Genesis S-435. I wanted a grill with stainless steel grates and great reliability, along with a manufacturer with excellent customer service. I'm really happy with the grill so far, save for two key issues. First, food sticks to the grates literally no matter what. The grates looked somewhat dull and felt different than I expected when the grill arrived, but I didn't think much of it at that time. However, I'm wondering if there was an issue with mine. I've followed the Weber instructions perfectly, do a proper preheat, oil the food directly, if it's sticking wait another 30-60 seconds, etc. But no matter what, I'm tearing the food off the grates. I've tried higher and lower temperatures, oiling the grates themselves, and any other trick you can think of to no avail. Don't get me wrong, the food cooks well and the grill heats very evenly. But I've never had this sticking issue with any other grill over the last 20 years, so it just seems odd to me. Second, when I contacted customer service to get some advice on the matter, things really didn't go anywhere. The person largely ignored the sticking issue (despite repeated attempts to ask about it) and only answered a secondary question about grate cleaning (and even then just pointed me to the same article on the Weber site I'd already looked at multiple times). In the last response, I was asked to send a video of me explaining the grate issue - and that just seemed odd. So that experience with customer service felt a bit subpar compared to what I was told to expect with Weber. Ultimately, would I recommend this grill? Absolutely. I presume my issues aren't typical. But it's slightly disappointing to pay as much as I did for this grill and be having issues with some pretty basic items. Minus the issues, this would be a 5/5 all day.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
