Too expensive for what you get. Grill doesn't get hot enough to put a real nice char on a steak.

We appreciate your feedback. We are so sorry to hear your grill is not getting hot enough. We are happy to help. It sounds like you may be activating a safety device built into the regulator. This safety device is a component of all LP gas regulators and is designed to reduce the flow of gas in the event of a leak. You can inadvertently activate the safety device without having a gas leak. Typically, this occurs if you do not wait a sufficient time between opening the tank valve and the burner control knobs or if one or more of the burner control knobs is in an open position when opening the LP tank valve. When the safety device has been activated the grill is referred to as being in “bypass”. Keep in mind that the safety device reacts to gas leaks. If a grill is in bypass, the gas connections and hose should be tested for leaks with a soap and water solution. If you do activate the gas regulator safety device, the grill may struggle to reach high temperatures or may not light at all, even with all burners on the START/HIGH setting. To ensure that you are not inadvertently activating the safety device as you turn on the grill, please use the following procedure: -Turn all burner control knobs to OFF, including the side burner control knob if present. - Visually confirm all burners are extinguished (no flame present) -Make sure the grill lid is open. Open the LP tank valve and then wait at least 60 seconds. This will allow the hose and regulator to pressurize. -Turn the appropriate burner control knob for your model grill to the START/HIGH position and then ignite the grill by pushing the ignition button. -Turn each of the other burner control knobs to high, one at a time, and press the igniter button (if applicable for your model). Repeat this process until all the burners have been lit. -Close the grill lid. -The grill should reach approximately 500 to 550 degrees in 10-15 minutes. When you are done grilling: -Turn all burner control knobs to the OFF position -Turn off the LP tank valve last. Our Care team is reaching out to help. Please look for an outreach email from us soon. Fantastic upgrade to my 13 year old Genesis Weber that served me well. The Genesis has so many more bells & whistles, top of the list is the internal lighting, now that the days are getting shorter, comes in hand to light the way. This grill includes the Crafted Weber kitchen collection setup where I used the Flattop, great addition. Assembly went smoothly, although there was a missing key part that Weber rectified immediately within 3 days with a replacement part. Also the additional side storage helps keeping the kitchen collection piece handy, but still out of the way. I haven't utilized all the Smart features yet, but the grill temp from the app is the bomb, so far. My only negative for this and most Weber Genesis grills, is the price, I paid it, but it is getting outrageous and hopefully this will last to be my final grill purchase.

Great looking grill. Now the downside. Upon delivery, ignitor for the side burner didn't work. Contacted Weber and they sent a new ignitor assembly. I had to install and now the burner is functioning. Two weeks of ownership and the stainless grates are rusting. Contacted Weber and they shipped a full set of new grates. Upon receipt I checked the grates with a magnet and in fact they are strongly magnetic. So the grates are a low grade of stainless so I will see how long these ones last. On the positive side, Weber customer service was very pleasant to work with and very responsive. Summing up, I would expect more from a grill this expensive.

This is a great grill for us propane fans. Our house in the country uses propane and our 1000 gallon tanks mean we don't have worry about running out. The grill heats up very quickly (400°F in 5 minutes and over 500°F in under 10 minutes). It can also do low and slow for items like prime rib roasts. We recently did a prime rib roast using the rotisserie accessory and it was our best prime rib ever. The cast iron grates produce great grill mark and works far better than grates made of stainless steel rods, in part they are substantially heavier. I have cooked on a variety of grills over the past three decades and this is the best one I've every used. I simply cannot find any flaws in it.

I see some reviews that are not favorable. I think this is the case because people expect it to perform without taking the time to get to know how to use it properly.

Great grill if you love technology. With wifi, the grill connects to the Weber Grill app where you can track temperature in grill and in food with the grill probe. The app also has step by step recipes that you can follow. The setup takes a few hours if you're putting it together, but nothing too complicated, just a lot of pieces.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
