Weber GENESIS S-435 Propane Grill w/ Cover, Griddle & Sear Grate

Have always had cheap grills. Finally bought an expensive Weber and it is well worth it. Quality and craftmanship are outstanding. Love natural gas and not having to use propane and switch bottles. Love the base is aluminum and won't rust out. Sear zone is great. Have got grill up to 750-800.

Incredible grill. Could not be happier with it. And the ease of putting it together with the assistance of the Bilt app was the perfect touch. Really blown away by the ease of the instructions. Thank you!

Have my new Genesis S-435 for only 9 days and have cooked 3 meals on it. WoW! My last weber grill was great but with this new grill searing feature, the meat is just much, much better, softer, juicer, flavorful... etc.!!! Can't wait to grill tomorrow.

Great grill. Only issue I have is with the design of the griddle. The placement of the drain hole is directly over the heat shield so the grease drains on the heat shield and catches fire. They could easily fix this by redesigning it to move the drain hole so it drips straight to the drip pan and bypasses the heat shield and flame.

This unit is an upgrade to the same type I bought in 2015. It starts up better, gets hotter, and otherwise is the same dependable high quality product as before. Holds up in the salty environment of the ocean coast.

The last burner will not light unless you light the sear burner next to it first.

All seem to be working fine except the ignition of one of the burners(the left most burner) which does not ignite(no spark). The burner works when the cover is closed and other burners are on which is dangerous.

Counting the classic Weber Kettle charcoal grill, this is the fifth Weber grill we've purchased over the past forty-plus years. By far, this is the largest, most technically advanced Weber we've ever owned. However, the one constant over the years is the quality of the grill. That quality coupled with the technology built into the grill makes this more than a "grill." This is a GRILL! From the folding upper grate to the integration of a "sear zone" to back-lit control knobs and lights that turn on as the lid is raised to tend to the foo being prepared in or on the Weber Crafted baskets and cookware, Weber has, seemingly, thought of everything needed to make this THE grill of any outdoor cook's dreams. We live in an area of the country that has its fair share of hurricanes and other storms that knock out power sometimes for over a week. I have every confidence this grill will make it easy for us to cook outside, if necessary, to keep down the heat in the house during those power outages. The quality of Weber shines through and the meals prepared in the weeks since the grill was delivered has been everything we've come to expect from Weber. Our first reaction to the storage compartment was amusement, but it is truly nice to have a set of pans, baskets and grill grates so easily accessed and close at hand. We're pleased with our purchase and the quality associated with the Weber name we've come to expect is a big part of that satisfaction.

Burner cover discolored. Tape across front doors is stuck to grill and I am fearful of scratching and damaging the grill doors.

With the sear zone I am able to pull a perfect steak every time.
