Weber GENESIS S-435 Propane Grill w/ Cover, Griddle & Sear Grate

I put together with assistance from the app. This is a very solid grill. One piece was on back order. I was told it would be in in a couple weeks. Still waiting on a part that is not interfering with my grilling. The ignitor did not work but customer service was great and the part was delivered in a couple days. The grill has performed well in the short time i have had the opportunity to use it. I expect this grill to last a long time based on the build and quality of the parts.

Missing parts upon arrival and told they are backordered. What a great way to start…..

Amazing grill! I upgraded from the genesis ii model and so happy I did.

The grill is BEAUTIFUL and works AWESOME. Customer service was great too, I received the grill with a dent in the top cover and they replaced it at no cost( i just had to send a picture of the dent). I haven't gotten full use out of the grill but am very excited to do so

The grill looks fantastic, but was a lot more trouble to put together than I thought it would be. The instructions for this weren't the best. Both the written and videos didn't cover every particular model. A few pieces were missing, but were sent as soon as I asked for them. It works well.

Went with a Weber grill because of the quality and support. I know I will be able to buy parts for the grill when needed in the future. I have enjoyed cooking on my new grill so far. Cooks fast.

Grill is really great and love the new Smart features and WiFi / App integration and the lighting too!! I'm really pleased so far and would definitely recommend this grill. I would like to see better "sealing" of the cabinet to prevent rain from entering so easily as that will surely result in rust in the years to come. I'd also recommend a slightly better positioning for the tank, since it's heavy and it's a little awkward placing it into its spot. Overall, very positive, and I'm looking forward to years of use!!!

I'm writing this about 3 weeks after receiving the grill. I've cooked for a large group and several times for just my wife and me. So far, I've been impressed. The grill heats up quickly. The sear zone is large and gets plenty hot to put a nice crust on steaks and burgers. Zones away from the sear area can be held at lower temperatures to cook side dishes. The upper grill rack is great for toasting buns and tortillas -- buns take just a minute or two and toast evenly. The temperature read out and associated phone app work great for following temperature during heating and cooking. Igniters work very quickly to light the burners. I haven't encountered any flaws or downsides.

Great grill with lots of features... igniter on side burner does not work but everything else is great. Good sear station and large grilling area.

I bought this grill to take the place of an earlier (2017) four burner Genesis grill that worked just fine but which lacked a sear zone and related extra burner. I was impressed with the very flexible grate design and functionality provided by the new grill version and - yes - the sear zone does exactly what it is supposed to do. However, having left the new grill without its cover on on one occasion where there was a rainstorm, I discovered that the new Genesis was much less watertight than the older version, so ALWAYS use a cover between uses - otherwise the enclosure under the grill becomes totally soaked.
