Weber GENESIS S-435 Propane Grill w/ Cover, Griddle & Sear Grate

Broken after 6 months. When we tried the grill after the winter the heat won't get past 200 degrees. I've spent more than three hours on the phone with customer service only to be told there is nothing that can be done to help me.

I've used this grill three times so far and I love it! It's roomy enough for a vegetable pan plus meats and everything I've grilled came out amazing! Best part is nothing sticks!

Forever grill with all the attachments you can get rid of all your griddles and smokers. One grill can do it all. Worth every penny.

This is the best built grill I've ever had. Excellent heat control.

Nice grill, with a few odd details. I opted against the smart features, as I didn't see them useful in how I plan to use the grill: I have a Smokefire where my more complicated longer cooks go. But: if you don't opt for the smart model, you lose out on the nice interior lighting built into the handles? It'd be nice if they made that an accessory that could be added (I've had the cheap clamp-on light, but it's just a cheap waste of money.... the built-in lights seem much nicer). Also: it seems there was a design change that removes the interior shelf, and replaces it with 45* supports? It really removes any usable space inside the grill cabinet. A better idea would have been some sort of rack to slide in some of those nice new weber bins designed for their griddle... Cheap design. Speaking of cheap: the knobs are pathetic. My older Genesis had some substantial feeling knobs (Granted the rubber on them started looking sad over the years.... but it's quite a jump to the flimsy plastic knobs they have now: sure they look nice, but hand-feel is terrible) Finally, it'd be nice to have hooks on the front of the grill for tools: with the width of this grill, side hooks aren't really useful for storing items when you're using the grill. Another nice design touch would be an additional flip-out table for the right side table (akin to the griddle and older weber models). And if Weber could somehow add a infrared burner accessory, I'd be willing to pay a good chunk of change for it (sure, the summit has it... but the genesis just seems more versatile... and adding an infrared burner to it would be great!) Aside from the cost-cutting design choices, and a few other practical design choices, the grill seems to be well-made and cooks well. We've primarily been using the Weber griddle insert, and loving it so far! (Could get a little hotter on the griddle... but otherwise nice to have a grill/griddle combo!)

Absolutely love this grill and it is so sturdy and well built compared to any other grill I have ever owned.

Handle spacers (part #64546) were both in pieces when the grill arrived. Looks like they were overtightened and broke apart in transit. Weber sent replacement parts. The tank blocker bracket was missing and out of stock. I am still waiting for that part. So the unassembled grill has been sitting in my garage for over a month now.

This is an excellent grill and my first natural gas grill. I had a weber summit propane grill for 17 years and it was time to replace it as it started rusting. I have used the grill 3 time and it performed pefectly

Amazing grill. I have yet to use the smart features but have used the grill many times. This is my third Webber in 25 plus years. 1 charcoal and 2 gas. I prefer to assemble things myself, I take a little more care in the assembly than some store assembler. Rubber bumpers for the hood are broken and laying in the bottom of the box. No big deal. 3/4 into built I realize there is a small spacer plate missing. I call Webber, very helpful guy not only ships out the missing part and replaces the rubber bumper, but also registers my grill while I am on the phone. Bravo. I am building the grill in my dinning room, French doors to the deck. Missing part takes 6 days to ship and another 4 days for delivery. I do think shipping out missing parts should take a priority. 10 days later the bumpers and the wrong replacement parts show up. I made my own spacer out of aluminum and finished the grill build. All this being said, Best Webber grill I have owned. Thank You.
