Weber GENESIS S-435 Propane Grill w/ Cover, Griddle & Sear Grate

Regarding assembly. 1. Why not put a video on Utube. For each Weber unit assembly. There is not a good one for the S-435. I looked at all two of them online. One was a different model, the other was useless. 2. There was one error in the printed and online (same as printed) instructions. 3. There was several incorrect instructions (not errors) because of model upgrades or changes. 4. Some of the sheetmetal/screw holes did not line up. I learned how to line them up using my fist and pounding. Now the good. I wound up liking the assembly pictures in the manual. They are clever. I like the letter/number system for the parts and boxes. The packing was perfect, loved the whole box. The Bilt app is terrible, for starters it was for a different unit than the S-435. I would check on it, maybe I was using the wrong Bilt file?

Love this grill. Have only used it twice but it seared our steaks beautifully. I used one of the recipes for chicken breast and put the temperature probe in. It was so moist and I love how it worked with the app. I have just ordered the pizza stone and I am excited to try it too especially in the summer when I don't want to use the indoor oven. The side burner was a must for me because I used it all the time on our old Weber . This was a replacement for another grill that the box burner had burned out. Very happy with this grill.

I've owned multiple Weber and higher end grills. The exterior stainless steel shelving on this model is low quality. Surface corrosion began immediately despite being in a covered a screen enclosed patio. I've seen this previously on low quality stainless but never expected to see it on a Weber. Their customer service team simply recommended cleaning and polishing more often.

Grill Lights are Nice to Have. But the Knob Lights only come on if plugged or Battery pack

I upgraded to the Genesis S-435 from my old Spirit II, and I absolutely love it. I was hesitant to spend $1,000 more than my old grill at first, but the S-435 is worth every extra penny. Build quality is excellent... probably 5x better than the Spirit II, and I expect this one to last a very long time. The 12-year warranty is awesome. Cooking quality is also excellent with very quick and very even heating. Lastly, I really like the Weber Crafted collection. I bought the flat top, grill basket, and searing grate so far. Having these accessories really makes it easy to do all of the cooking on the grill and minimize trips back to the kitchen.

Excellent temperature control and great spacing to control multiple different foods. Easy to connect for a permanent gas hook up on my deck & our family grills year round.

Really great build quality, really fast shipping from Weber. Easy to put together using the BILT app and the paper instructions for clarifaction. I have an 8 year old 3 burner , sear station and external burner special edition Weber and in comparison, this S-435 is a leap in technology. It seems to be hotter , it seems to use propane more efficiently, it has no cold spots, it is huge with a huge cooking area and upper rack that doubles in size and it is beautiful in stainless steel.

Easy ordering, easy delivery. However, the plastic wrapping left a very sticky film all over the stainless steel side tables.
