Weber GENESIS S-435 Propane Grill w/ Cover, Griddle & Sear Grate

Really like the side storage drawer. The folding top rack is great. I'm really happy I "needed" a new bbq! So far the food had been cooked like it's supposed to be.

Great looking grill. Very big cooking area. The storage is nice also. I wish when I click the igniter and turn on the first knob, all I would have to do is turn the knobs for the other 4 to get them on. Instead you have to click the igniter for each one of them. This is an upgrade to my older Weber grill so I am enjoying the spacious cooking area.

I bought this grill today and when I put it together one of the pieces that holds the drip pan up on the right side is not there. There is nowhere in the instructions about installing them so it means that it came from the factory like this. I can't even look up the part to buy a new one and with the price of this grill there should be better QC

I absolutely love my Weber GENESIS S-435 Gas Grill! You can grill, bake and even stir fry. The side burner is a handy feature that I love. I'm also amazed that you could also use the grill as a rotisserie with the added height of the lid. I really like the extra large side table. I actually have more prep space outside on the grill than inside the house. I love the added storage space on the side and underneath the grill. I'm blown away by the sear zone. I could never sear my meat quite right before. Now I get flavorful restaurant quality seared meat every time. I have so much cooking space on this grill with the expandable top cooking grate and side burner. Very easy to assemble. I highly recommend downloading the BILT app on your phone. The BILT app really helps with assembly instructions. Very high quality brand that makes high quality products. You can purchase additional Weber accessories to really make this grill even more versatile. Definitely worth the money. I'm highly impressed with this grill and the endless cooking possibilities.

I had pretty high expectations for this grill…I have a co worker who sings the praises of this Weber Genesis, an older model he has had for years and continually gushes about. He is an avid grillsman, so we knew the Genesis S-435 would probably suit our needs as well, but even so, we were blown away at how well this grill performs, all the details that make outdoor cooking simpler, and how this thing is built to last, and last, and last. It arrived in perfect condition, in a quite heavy box, filled with smaller, well marked boxes that once removed, made moving the large box doable between my husband and I. Using the included booklet, but mostly the BILT app, it took my husband a bit over 2 hours to construct. The app is great, using motion and the ability to rotate to see every quarter, it makes all instructions clear. Had I, or anyone given him more of a hand, it would've gone much faster, but he was pretty excited and didn't want to wait on help. The Weber Genesis is built with heavy duty components, and I have no doubt about how long it will hold up. The grates and the flame covers are thick and dense, and won't rust away for a very long time…a problem that lesser grills certainly struggle with, even with regular maintenance and constant cover from the weather. The temperature gauge is large and accurate, and the grill maintains steady, constant heat, and doesn't lose an undo amount when opening to check your food. I love that it has a gauge on the outside the measures how much propane you have, so you are never caught flatfooted mid-cook, which is an absolute disaster, especially when entertaining guests. It uses weight to determine how much LP you have, so it isn't an exact measure, but it's close enough to alert you when you should fill up. There are hooks aplenty, so finding a place to hang tools, accessories or rags won't be an issue. The cabinet beneath is large enough for your propane tank, the burn off and grease collection system, and room to spare for other accessories. Too, there is a side compartment that is quite tall and deep (I've included a photo with a soda can for scale), which is great for anything, but in particular the Weber Veggie Basket and Pizza Stone, which I'll review soon. There is also a small basket for smaller items attached to the door, which I use to hold a flashlight for cooking at twilight. The wheels spin smoothly, and can be locked in place. The grill is well balanced and level. Lastly and most important, how does it cook? Excellently. I get a more consistent cook using the Weber than I've had with any other grill. On those lesser models, I've had to rotate my meats across the grates to circumvent hot and cool spots, but using the Genesis means I don't have to babysit our dinner. Using the temperature gauge, and the consistency of the Genesis' heat, I have been rewarded with perfectly cooked meals (perfectly cooked by the grill, not accounting for user error, to which my husband and I are prone). Too, using the Sear Zone, I can lock in the flavor before moving our foods it to a a more moderate side of the grilling surface. The side burner works excellently, and the grill itself doesn't have to be on to use it, which is a plus since this isn't always the case. Lighting the grill has been flawless…you do have to use the "ignite" button on each knob you want to turn on, which is a feature I like but was unfamiliar with. As you can see, we are incredibly happy with the Weber S-435, and I'm already shopping for more accessories on their website. Next up for me is the smart cooking device, which I'm excited to get my hands on. We are completely satisfied, and recommend without reservation!

It is well made, looks great in stainless steel, and is easy to operate. Has some storage which is very nice. Gas tank is not noticeable as it is hidden in the storage area and has a gauge to estimate propane quantity in the tank. Rolls easily and has wheel locks to hold it in place.. Grilling on the S435 IS WONDERFUL as it is the only grill I have used that heats evenly and heats up fast. When you turn your food, on any grill, you loose heat, but this Grill recovers fast. A good purchase at a fair price.

My first Weber and I am hooked! This is the first Weber grill I have ever had and I couldn't be more happier. It is GREAT! Let me start by saying I am not very handy. Actually, my wife is more handy and she actually enjoys building stuff and putting stuff together like this so it went pretty well for us. When you buy one of these the first thing that you need to do is download the smartphone app called "BILT" because this grill is on it and it made putting this grill together so much easier. It showed us interactive directions step by step! I have to say that the quality of this grill is fantastic. The pieces and parts all seem to be very high quality and even though it's too early to tell since it's brand new, I feel like this Weber grill should last a really long time! This grill heats up faster than any grill I've ever seen, it's pretty impressive. We have been able to make a ton of food because of the really large cooktop area and side burner. Highly recommended!

What can I say, I'm absolutely in LOVE with the GENESIS E-435 Gas Grill. It does everything but wash itself, and even the cleaning is pretty easy! The quality is top-notch, it's a very solid grill. There's so much to love about this from the sear option, to the ability to light 4 separate burners, to the large shelves, the extra storage for all the accessories, and a side burner. The grill heats up quick and evenly, and everything has tasted excellent. Highly recommend!!

This is a great grill, a lot of room for cooking and prepping the food. You totally can cook a whole meal outside. Here are things we want to say about it: - very well built, everything went together as supposed to. A little time consuming to assemble but it totally is worth it at the end. - the fuel gauge system seems to be well engineered and nicely designed, not sure how accurate it is but we will find out as time goes. - cooks very well, flavor bars distribute the heat better than any other grills that we have had before. - all parts that come with the grill seem to be of good quality. Everything seems to be what I expect for a grill of this price range. - the side burner seems to be placed well and it is not sticking out, it has a cover. - Ignition set up for the batteries is inside the grill on the power module rather than in the push button switch itself - easy to change batteries and probably won't corrode like they could when they are located in the push button like the design on other grills. - Large prep area, storage compartment is a nice feature. Large cooking area, sear zone with intense high heat for perfect steaks. - We cooked the whole meal in picture on this grill. Soup was cooked on the side burner, everything else was cooked on the grill. - We are waiting for the stone grate and the sear grate to arrive to enjoy the grill even more. Highly recommend.
