Weber GENESIS S-435 Propane Grill w/ Cover, Griddle & Sear Grate

Good Grill. Durable and functional. Sear function is great.

After an initial problem with the assembly instructions, everything went together in about 1.5 hours, only the step putting in the fire box required 2 people. The quality and finishes are the best I've found in a grill. Burn-in was uneventful. The pre-heat is fast, and the cooking is very even and the temperature is easily controlled. An excellent grill

Expensive but has value. Works better than the charbroil that it replaced. Accessories are priced too high.

Very nice upgrade from my last weber Genisis. Cook evenly and temperatures are consistent. Sizzle zone is new to me and it does work! Only thing I need to get use to is having to press the igniter for each flame bar on individually. I also learned it is not water proof inside the cabinet.

I made the jump after 8 years of contentment owning the E-310. In fact my E-310–with a upgraded stainless grills is still working great. But I always wanted a side-burner. We do a lot of cooking outdoors. And now that I own this monster, I never have a reason to cook inside! I always thought I was pretty good at grilling, but this unit makes it easier and better. I think it has a lot to do with the size. With a larger volume of space under the lid it's easier to maintain the perfect temperature. It's so powerful, I've been roasting on the fold-out grates above a lot, and I'll let the juices fall on the roasted potatoes below. If you're thinking this is too-much grill, it isn't. It's the perfect size for cooking an entire meal—for 2 or for 10!

First let me say that I love Weber grills - I have owned several over the past 40 years. I hope that the latest issue with my new Genesis 2022 E-435 can be fixed and I can update this review with a more favorable rating. My grill arrived in an open carton on April 13, 2022 in an open carton. Fortunately, all the grill components arrived. I used the BILT app, along with the paper instructions, to assemble my grill. The app is very helpful! When I tried to install the left side table I discovered that it had a manufacturing defect and could not be installed. I contacted Weber customer support and received a replacement within a few days. I installed the replacement side table and completed assembling my grill. I this time I noticed that the right cabinet door would not latch to the magnet latch. I reported this to customer service and a few days later a person from the Genesis 2022 team got back to me. I explained the problem and offered an opinion: since the position of magnet latches are not adjustable there is an inherent problem with the design. (Visit a hardware store or their website and look at magnetic cabinet latches. They all have slotted holes in the mounting brackets so that you can adjust the position of the magnet in relation to the position of the closed door.). The very nice person convinced me to accept a shipment of a replacement door. I received the replacement door and two additional door latch bars (same as what was originally shipped). First I replaced the door latch magnet bar. This did not fixed the problem. I then installed the replacement door. It latched! Problem solved - I thought. Today when I went to my garage to move my grill to the patio I noticed that the left cabinet door was not latching. The right door was still latching. I called customer service about this and was told that someone would be calling me within the next 24 to 48 hours about the problem. I briefly tested all the burners to confirm that the ignition system works. It does like a champ. I plan to use my grill as soon as the door latch issue is fix.

Great grill. The outside burner never worked from day one. Gas comes through but no spark. I told them at the appliance store about it but they didn;t seem too interested. Just won't use it.

I am very pleased with the features and performance of this grill. Quick to temp and easy to control, I have found it a breeze to get meats and vegetables done the way I want them. The flexibility of the Weber crafted grill inserts and side burner make full-meal prep in one spot my go-to solution to dinner preparation. The storage space for grill inserts and tools is everything it needs to be. The best all-around grill I have owned among many over the years.

Great grill. Tons of space on grill and counter space on both sides is more than you need.

Love the utility of the sear zone for steaks, chops, burgers, etc. Perfect size for entertaining or family meals. Great addition to my backyard patio.
