I purchased it for the size I can accommodate. However, the 'flameless' concept is a challenge during the day, and at night, to determine if the flame is on. The first two times the grill was able to reach a high temp and the third time it never passed 298.

Great grill. Fadt lightning and heating. Easy to clean.Tray pulls out and can clean in sink. Buy again. Much better quality, worth the price.

Nice grill so far, but what were you thinking with the metal handle!!! Please send a replacement handle that lets you open the lid without burning your hand, 35 years previous Weber grill user, previous grills lid cover handles were wood or plastic!! Almost sorry I got rid of my 15 year old Weber grill before using this one! Now sorry.

I have owned several grills over my fifty years of grilling and this is by far the most expensive even though it is a very basic grill. It is ok except for one major flaw - the lid handle gets as hot as the grill grates. When inquiring, I was given the response that all parts of any grill can get hot and Weber recommends wearing heat proof gloves while grilling. To me, this is a major inconvenience to be putting these on and off during the entire cooking process. This shouldn't be necessary and I have never had a grill that the handle got so hot that I couldn't open and close the lid without hand protection. Disappointing.

Great grill, easy to assemble. Handle does get a little warm during usage - I purchased a grill handle cover that velcros on to the handle. Weber should partner with a company to make these and brand them to Weber for their grills. My only regret is that I did not purchase the EP-425 for extra grill space. My previous grill was a Genesis Silver and this is a down-size.

We had a genesis for about 15 years and it was flawless in design and function. We gave it to our daughter to downsize when we moved into a condo, and purchased a spirit. It performs great and we expect to it last forever. The searing section works great and is definitely a design improvement over our Genesis. I recommend that people spend the extra money and get a Weber and get great performance for 25 years. Or, by a less expensive grill, get mediocre performance, have lower owner satisfaction, and have to spend more money in 10 years to replace it.

Money well spent! Assembly was easy and not complicated with all parts supplied. It is sturdy and well built. It cooks great and achieves good high temperatures for my steak cooking, but will dial down for more sensitive cooking. I had made the mistake of double ordering the griddle and the grill frame. I reached out to Webber to see if anything could be done. Within a day I received an email and a shipping call tag allowing the return. Being in a service business, I could not have asked for more. I can fully recommend Webber and their customer service.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
