I started my Traeger experience with the Ironwood 650 and loved it for many years. I decided to upgrade for something bigger. I definitely made the right choice with Woodridge Elite. This past weekend I had 2 pork butts, a crab stuffed beef tenderloin and a tray of crab stuffed shrimp all going at one time. Loving it!!

2 weeks in, I love this thing. Holds temp really well, easy to clean and the wife is happy that I can reverse sear my steaks OUTSIDE on the side burner.

Upgraded from a Pro 780 and have had nothing but problems. Picked up on 04/08/25 and put it all together on 04/12/25. Seemless install and super easy to do the burn off process with no issues. Started a cook the next day. Temp took over 45 minutes to get to 395 and hits 395 it would switch to "keep warm" or/and "super smoke" and temp decreases. It would switch from one or the other and wifi continued to connect/disconnect. The controller board doesn't respond once this happens. I have to control it through the app once wifi connects again. Pellet sensor shows 100% even though there isn't much in there. Its been doing this ever since. Have had a total of a week and a half since install. Been on the phone with Traeger for a total of 3 hours and no resolution. They did virtual recordings for over an hour. Was told multiple times they are escalating, that was 4 days ago with no resolution. Now I am trying to just return it or exhange it since Traeger hasn't responded. Also, hold times when I called was well over 25 minutes.

I use my smoker almost daily. Mostly brisket, reverse searing, prime, and ribs. Traded in My PB for the New elite model and I wish I wouldn't have. The side wall gap between the lid and the barrel is 1/2" or greater allowing for heat loss throughout the entire lid. Is there a way to insulate and seal that lid seam along the entirety of it? Lid construction is poor at best. Checked with floor models at multiple locations and found the same gap issue on them all. Smoked a chuck roast at 250°f and it took over 16 hrs to hit temp. The sear plate is nice, and so is the cabinet space. Other than that, I wish I would have gone with a better built model. May return if the store will still let me.

Fantastic pellet grill. My previous pellet grill was a Pro 34. Which was a good grill, however the Woodridge Elite has raised the standards for pellet grills.

Love the grill but my only frustated moments are when starting up the grill and the 🔥 button on the panel does not always start the grill when pushed. Have had to shut down and restart a few times since getting it.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
