I've been using the Blaze gas griddle grill for a couple weeks now and I am really happy with it! I replaced a regular gas grill I'd been using for several years and enjoy outdoor cooking on this much more with the even heat distribution, no flame flare-ups and less smoke than I had with the open flame grill, and the solid cooking surface is more versatile. It takes a little getting used to but I'm glad to have found this and made the switch. Before I made the purchase I studied the cavity cutout dimensions and was a bit concerned/confused by the height measurement because it called for 11-3/4" but the grill is only about 10-1/4" tall below the surface flange so I ordered it before enlarging my cutout. After reading the manual the reason they call for an 11-3/4" height cutout is to allow an inch of space below the front of the grill for incoming airflow to support proper combustion. Well, if it is sitting on their base cabinet with the front of the base being flush with the front of the grill then yes that gap is needed. But in my case with the front of the grill over-hanging or protruding from the front edge of the enclosure, there is a 2" gap for airflow underneath the front edge without having to make the cutout deeper (see second picture) so this worked out really well in my case.

I've been using the Blaze 40" Griddle for a few weeks now, and it's seriously impressive. The size is perfect for hosting—I've cooked breakfast for 10 people on it with no problem. Heat is super even across the whole surface, and the controls are easy to use. The lid is one of my favorite parts—opens smoothly with one hand thanks to the spring assist, and it keeps everything clean when not in use. The grease management system is also spot-on. It's up front, easy to empty, and doesn't make a mess like other griddles I've used. Build quality is solid—it feels like something that'll last for years. If you love cooking outdoors and want something reliable, powerful, and easy to clean, this griddle is a no-brainer.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
