Flame bars blowout on mildly windy days and have to be relit. Air baffle or wind blocker would improve grill
I had this version of the grill with a natural gas connection to my home. When I bought a new home with propane as a heat source, I bought the propane version of the grill to connect to my fuel line. Buying it twice is how strongly I feel about this grill.
Last year my free propane grill died a fiery death and I decided, since I have a charcoal grill and BK off-set smoker that it was time to actually invest in and up my propane grilling game. I bought this grill last year, I think around Spring time. I looked at a lot of different types and brands and narrowed my options down, but once I finally found a floor model and was able to compare the Baron 440 PRO to the others I had been checking out, I decided on this for a few reasons. First, I liked the size; I wanted to be able to cook a lot of food at once; a family of 5 needs at least 5 burgers going, and I like to space my food out. As well, I wanted to be able to cook multiple things at once; ie, 5 burgers, onion slices and random veggies. For the size, I wanted 4 burners and this does have 4 burners. I also wanted side tables and preferably a side burner, which this grill has. I wanted stainless grates as opposed to cast iron; with a propane grill, I find cast iron is not necessary to hold the heat or get a good seer. And finally, I wanted a reputable brand. Other propane grills in this price range that were reputable typically had 3 burners and/or were smaller and did not have a side burner. I started out rating the value for the price as a 3, but after considering the previous sentence, I realised, for the price point, the BK likely has the best value, when one takes into account the warranty and longevity. After a sober second thought, I feel that, though the price is higher than I would have thought for a 4-burner, this BK Baron 440 PRO offers the best value that I could find. Obviously I could have gone with a low-cost option but you get what you pay for. Since purchase, I've grilled many meals. Once I got used to this grill and its quirks, it was very easy to use and to get my temperatures correct. The grates leave very nice grill lines if you know what you're doing, the power output is superb, it's easy to use and to clean and provides very good heat. In addition, as a charcoal griller and someone who is out every weekend smoking something elaborate, I was skeptical of BK's write up of their "Flav-R-Wave" cooking system which boasts of "great bbq flavour." I was wrong BK... I was wrong. Their system actually imparts amazing flavour, creating a nice smoky flavour for all foods. This is the first propane grill I have owned that has worked like this for me, so I am surprised and impressed. My main gripes are: 1. the side burner is very underpowered. I like to boil water on the side burner for potatoes or corn, and for a large pot of water, I find the side burner underpowered. 2. do not bother trying to grill oily foods. I tried chicken shawarma and the flare ups were brutal. This wasn't a problem with a previous grill but, if you are coating foods in anything oil-based, stick with your charcoal grill (to be fair, the chicken was marinating in olive oil all day and the manual warns not to do this). 3. There is a warmer and a cooler side surprisingly enough. I would have thought that, by upgrading to an actual brand name good quality propane grill that this wouldn't be a problem. I find the right side requires the burners to be turned up to create the same heat as the left side. Not a big deal, just surprised. Other than that, I absolutely love this grill, it being my second major BK product (aside from my accessories). I've used it throughout the winter and summer, though it is most useful to me in the winter when I want to limit the amount of time I'm outside. Great flavour; great meals every time; great value for the price point; perfect size; convenient and easy to use. Gets a 4 out of 5, losing one point for my minor gripes.

I researched quite a bit before investing in this barbecue and am somewhat disappointed. When I turn on all three burners there are cool spots as well as hot spots which means you have to stand there and rotate food from one spot to another.
I've had this BBQ for about 8 months now and I couldn't be happier! When I started shopping this was the best value for the price. The grills are guaranteed to not rust or fall apart and the burners! That was the selling point right there! Everything I have BBQ'd so far has been fantastic and it fits a turkey easily that I BBQ twice a year .

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
