My husband has been wanting a high quality, propane pizza oven for years. He's always used wood burning or our oven in the past, but wood burning doesn't temp well, and the oven heats up our house too much in the summer and doesn't get hot enough. I debated purchasing an Ooni because of how pricey they are, but they had a Memorial Day sale and I decided to bite the bullet. So glad I did. It's amazing and he loves it! Our pizzas came out perfect and were so quick and easy. He said he wouldn't change anything about the oven, it's super user friendly, high quality, gets to a perfect temp, and it's the perfect size. I think we may be living on pizzas for the rest of the year because of how much he enjoyed using it.

We mistakenly ordered the Koda 16 configured for natural gas, and it did not like our propane gas supply. Heavy soot. Ooni resolved the issue to our complete satisfaction. I'm still learning how to create great pizza; it's a science and the experimenting is an enjoyable process. Should it take an hour to preheat the oven to the recommended (on YouTube) 700 degrees at the stone? Even at that heat (150 degrees hotter than my local pizzeria's oven), the dough is crisp at the crust edge but not fully cooked elsewhere after 10 minutes of cooking with the flame turned down to avoid the incineration of early attempts.

I liked the oven. . . quality, appearance, durability. However, I strongly suggest to Ooni develop a kind of frontal cover, to close a little bit the oven because the heat scape too much. If the "mouth" of the oven have a 50/50 removal cover or 80/20 removal cover with handrail, would be PERFECT!!

I am really happy with this purchase and using it as much as we can before the weather turns. I would like to see better covers for this oven as it would be nice to leave outside year-round.

The first pizza attempts were good. Next time I'll reduce the moisture content of the dough. Have also roasted veggies and cooked a whole fish. Loving the Ooni.

You can't get a better oven for this price. Its big cooking area makes it easy to make consistent pizzas, just 60-90 seconds with one 180 turn half way through and you're done.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
