Very solid and nice product but, it does not reach very high temperatures and also does not indicate the temp. levels it could and should reach. It also could do with a centre burner which will help to spread even temp. The cast iron cooking area is heavy and of a very good quality.

I really like the overall quality. The griddle is sturdy, cooks well and cleans up easily. If Weber entertains potential design changes, I recommend that the griddle have two burners rather than a single burner.

It's a Weber griddle, built well and it works. But I wish the heat was higher. This 17" struggles in windy conditions. We thought it would be a good option for a beach trip. There was some minor wind, nothing crazy. But the griddle temp could not hot enough on max. It could only get up to low 200° range so it took awhile for food to cook. Everyone was looking at me starving haha. I had to explain that it isn't normally how long it takes and explained the wind. I will probably be selling it and just use the Smokey Joe for beach.

The 17" Traveler griddle is perfect for small family or someone not necessarily cooking for a small horde of hungry campers. It is absolutely perfect for my back patio grilling & smoking area. I can sauté mushrooms and onions for our steaks and burgers. Clean up is pretty simple too. The cast iron griddle lifts out for easy cleaning and can be seasoned or re-seasoned with ease. Highly recommend it for anybody who doesn't need a huge griddle or break the bank.

Even greater than I had hoped! We haven't even used our regular grill since we purchased this! Very convenient size for 2-4 people. Easy to clean. Fun cooking on for sure. Quality product at a great price. Love it. Would recommend!

wonderful griddle. one problem I have had is the grease collection chute. it constantly leaks on my table. don't know why. everything appears to be lined up. very frustrating

Love this!!! Cleans up great, gets hot VERY close to edge, heats evenly, love the lid, easy to light, no rusting, really like the drip pan with liners....it is seasoned, but is better with none sticking after a few uses...

Hi Richard. The Weber GP17 Portable Griddle only uses 1 pound canisters. Weber currently does not offer a hose to allow use with 20-pound tanks.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
